ART SplitMix4
Splitter / Mixer

Everything good
But plan a huge loss in volume. Maybe some dependency with other channels knob also... But passive mixing is all about electronics compromise, so overall this works very well. And very solid build.
ART SplitMix4
Although this mixer sort of works, the output level is so low that when I used it in the first gig the sound engineers said there was almost no signal and I couldn't use it. I plugged my keyboards (Nord Stage 3 and Behringer Arp Odyssey) straight into the DI boxes and the level jumped about 10 times. I don't see how this is supposed to be used at all??
gets the job done
I use it as an headphones spliter/ works very well. can do a lot of other things.
Too low the level
I was sure to use it as a signal splitter but it needs huge hot signal to drive the outs....and this is not always possible. I would not buy it again..
Handy tool, great quality
Although this is a passive mixer, there is no crosstalk between channels. The drop in volume when connecting all four inputs is minimal.
The build quality is top notch.
The size factor, the price, the fact that is needs no power, the versatility that it can be used either as a mixer or a slitter or any other way in between, makes it an excellent tool that everyone must have in his/her studio.
Multi-pupose splitter/mixer
A useful device to control hot signals from external sources (CD player, Keyboard, etc.) Easily used in a combination of roles. Unfortunately it does not allow passage of phantom power.
Ruggedly built and easy to use
