Harley Benton EX-76 Classic AN

Been seeing a lot of videos lately on YouTube on the Harley Benson guitars and saw this explorer style guitar and thought I would pick it up. Took about 5 days to get to California which is pretty cool. Once i took it out of the box everything looked good. The setup on it was actually pretty decent. Very minimal fret sprout. Could easily be taken care of with a file. Overall, the guitar feels great. For the money, I don't think there's any better value out there. The guitar just needs a little work on the nut to be perfect and a little bit work on the fret ends and this guitar can compete with almost anything. Originally I was going to put some Gibson classic 57 pickups but I think the pickup's on there pretty solid. The pickups are a little hot so I lower them a little bit and they...

I got hold of this baby last month, and I had been playing it since. What a monster, it roars like thunder and then suddenly tremolo squeals like devil. Its amazing. It has a basewood body and a rosewood fretboard with 24 jumbo frets. And ofcourse, Jackson will have its Shark Fin inlays to have a trademark jackson look. Humbuckers are fine, I mean they are a bit active high (i.e., they still produce sound, a little hum, even when you are not playing. Solution is to turn the volume knob down.). But this is how Jackson is. Well, the most beautiful feature is the Floyd Rose Tremolo with double locking system plus die cast tuners. Tune it and it will rarely go out of tune even after savage use of the floating bridge. All in all, its a beautiful little monster.
Gibson Flying V Antique Natural

I'm a long-time Gibson player, but I've never had a V before. Had this V for about an month now and I can't put it down. It is a fantastic guitar. Looks great, plays great. Looks and Finish: The fit and finish are excellent. The body is three pieces of mahogany and they've been well matched. One join it almost impossible to see, and the more visible one is done at the bottom of the guitar so that the most obvious part of the join is never seen (this is on the edge of the guitar on Vs). I'm not normally a fan of antique natural finishes, but this one is excellent. The colour is a rich dark amber. The nitro finish is deep and glossy and brings out the grain of the mahogany wonderfully well. (In places it is reminiscent of the glisten from a honey burst candy finish I have on a Les...

What can I say. Great sound, TWO volume controls ❤❤ The guitar holds the tuning even with aggressive use of the Floyd-Rose bridge. Beautiful finish A little disadvantages: - The guitar is a bit heavy, but that's understandable because it has a specific shape (beautiful) Explorer guitar. - As the guitar is varnished, fingerprints and dust are very visible. Better get yourself a microfiber clot xD Here is a little test/cover with this beauti https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWIjiK2Zogw

I was looking for a very verstile guitar with mahogany body and this is it. Well balanced instrument, beauiful finishes and warm sound Pros: - The finish really surprised me, not a single dent or paint mistake, it is just perfect. - Floyd Rose bridge performs amazingly. Guitar stays in tune after dive bombs or horsies. - Warm sound, CoolRails and SH-4 are great pickups combination - This is a low weight guitar, much lower than a traditional Strat. - Very easy access to higher frets - Mahogany body-neck and ebony fretboard is the perfect combination. Cons: - Fretjob could be better. - Circuit is very cheap: no CTS pots, cheap 5 position switch, poor wiring, no cooper shielding. - Fretboard is 14" radius, bridge is 12" radius so action leveling string to string is not the best. At...

Very high quality instrument. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Straight from the box the action was ok, but I managed to get it really low (1 mm first string, 1,4 mm sixths string, on a 12 fret). Intonation is perfect, didn't need any adjustment (E standard tuning, 10-46 Elixir strings). Neck pickup is with Sustaniac, that was the main reason to buy this guitar. I had few guitars with Sustaniac before, and had some issues in the past (some notes were not picked up by the magnet, for example), in this one it is fine. Bridge pickup is really hot, high output, but the sound is a bit dull. In general, I don't like the clean sound of this guitar at all, but I guess it is not really designed for clean sound. Distortion is perfect. Sound is clear, could really cut through the mix, well...

Looks: Astonishing craft regarding visual details, everything falls in place as you'd expect and is certainly an instruments giving you a great deal of pleasure once you pick it up and jam. I especially like the work done for the fretboard, it's very smooth and has a tasteful glossy appearance. Sound: Clean and precise, with exceptional good output quality. I even got to use it with a software amp software and was amazed of the quality of the signal since the adapter used to pick up the sound isn't top notch quality. Thumbs up for this! Cons: Volume nob is a little too close to the picking area for my taste. I found myself turning the volume down unwillingly few times. Playing position: Great for sit or standing positions, it's not just a guitar for shows but fits well for practice...
Schecter E-1 FR S Special Edition SCAR
Based on 2 reviews
Last year I was looking for months at the purple version of this guitar, saving up money to buy it. But due to the low amount of stock, it wasn't available for a long time. As we were about to record the solos for our new record, I ended up picking the SCAR finish instead. I ordered it, in the hope I would also like this finish, and if not I had the choice to send it back.. From the moment I opened the box, I was completely sold. This finish is absolutely amazing in real life, something I haven't seen before on any instrument. When I plugging this badboy into a Soldano amp, the amp just started screaming out those never ending epic dive bombs because of the sustainiac pickups. It's just completely wild and makes you want to skip working, skip eating, skip sleeping and just continue...

The guitar arrived flawless. Excellent fret job with no issues, no dead notes or anything...I have it tuned to Eb with 10-46 gauge strings and holds the tuning without problems while maintaining very low string action (1,2mm on the E string, 1mm e string 12 fret). The overall sound is awesome, really fat with great sustain but a bit bass-y, but that's purely subjective. The most impressive feature of the guitar is the body cutaways that makes the playability even better when comparing to a standard ''flat - top'' explorer

Guitar head - the tuners are installed evenly, the holes for the self-tapping screw, for attaching the tuning pegs, are placed parallel, without flaws. The neck of the guitar is flat, smooth, the frets are perfectly rolled. The inlay, though not rich, is perfectly executed. Guitar body - all cutouts for sensors and floyd rose are made well, even, without unnecessary chips. The strap bindings are well positioned exactly in line with the center of the guitar body. A stock set of 9-42 strings is installed on the guitar. However, I would recommend presetting a 10-46 string set for such an aggressive instrument. The guitar is superb, a real Dark Samurai. Each strike on the strings vibrates into the body. Sorry for the Googletranslator!)
