Powerful speakers

I bought 2 of these speakers for my Dj rig, The speakers are very well built and look very well. I have used the speakers alot in the last few months and have had no problems. The sound quality is crisp and crystal clear, The bass is also remarkable considering the speaker has only a 12" woofer. The speaker is small and light weight making it handy for my mobile Rig. The speaker has a great layout including all the perks on the back Mic inputs and link capability makes these speakers stand out along with the built in EQ makes these speakers attractive to all Musicians.

I would recommend the speakers be used with a Bass bin for djing in big venues as there simply isn't enough bass. but for small pub gigs they are perfect.

Can't fault these for the price!

I bought two of these as a replacement for an older, heavier passive PA system I was using. I'm a solo acoustic performer with a pretty simple setup and am really happy with this product - I've been using them for just over a year solidly and they've been faultless so far.

Sound quality is good, I gave this a 4/5 based on the price of the product and the clarity/warmth of the sound. The high end is a little harsh at times but the basic in-built EQ is useful if you need to tone it down a little. The low end response is surprisingly decent - I plug an electroacoustic guitar and a vocal mic into these and there's plenty of low end for what I need. I've heard better sound quality from much more expensive active PA speakers, but I've also heard MUCH worse quality from similarly priced speakers - so I'd say these represent excellent value for money, as does most Behringer kit that I've used.

Power-wise, these speakers have suited every situation I've needed them for so far. Powerful enough to use outside or in larger venues, but still good at lower volumes also. A great all-rounder. Also, they're not too heavy and pretty easy to transport.

A quick note on the in-built preamps: You'll want to use a separate mixing desk to get some more control over levels, EQ, fx etc. However saying that, I have plugged an instrument and a mic directly into the speaker on occasion, and honestly the sound quality is more than decent and very useable. A simple in-built reverb would've been the icing on the cake, but you can't have everything!

Overall - very impressive for the price and definitely recommended.

The behringer it's a box I have work a long time.This model is Good to be on the top combined with a sub. the good thing is I can manipulate the frequency the way I want. since I have this model I have the sound I always want.

Great Active speaker

Small lightweight and powerful. Using for Band PA which includes a double bass and works really well. Clear and loud.

Behringer B112D Active Speaker

I just received these speakers today, all I can say is WOW !.I am a DJ and used passive speakers for years up to now, although I do have 2 Behringer B1500D active subs (they are fantastic also. The B112D was quiet small looking when I open the box, but they really pack some bass and treble, the sound is brilliant. They only have 1 handle on top, but they're so lightweight, that's all you need. I would recommend buying covers for these speakers when you order to prevent them getting scratched and marks while transporting them from gig to gig. 5 STARS to you Behringer !!!

PA value

I have two of these speakers and use them for all venues. I even use them for outdoor gigs and have never run out of power. The sound is consistent at all volume levels and quality is not an issue. I am a one man band using an acoustic guitar and firmly pbelieve if you can get a good acoustic guitar sound you can get any sound. As an added bonus they don't cost the earth and the whole PA fits in the boot of a fiat punto The only complaint I have is there is only one handle on the top of the cabinet which makes it difficult to mount on a high speaker stand. Please Beheinger put at least one handle on the side of the cabinet.
