Handy just 1u EQ hardware
Really nice addon for a home threater room. Used for subwoofer and central speaker. I had a couple , adly they they have the reputation of breaking over time
No clue
I have no clue how this device sounds. The one i received was clearly not 'new out of the box' and did not even work. It seems to take months to get it repaired. When i contacted customer service they tried to do as if dirty fingerprints and poorly replaced protection foil is normal. Yes for B-stock that may be. Not for a new product. So once again, how this Behringer sounds. No clue.
Just what I was looking for
My studio set up is in an alcove in a corner - It's that or nothing at the moment. As a result, the sound through my near field monitors is all over the place. I bought this unit to balance out the mix in my listening position. I was amazed at how good it has been. The sound is great. The manual could be better and I was put off using it for a good while as a result of this. However, in practice, it all worked quite smoothly. Behringer are now back in my good books.
HI-FI swiss knife
Excellent product. I use it dayly, mostly as equalizer on my audio system. I own two of these and they do their job flawlessly. It would be nice a new version with wifi and remote control.
Amazing versatility
Parametric EQ, Dynamic EQ, Graphic EQ, Feedback Destroyer, Stereo Imager, Compressor, Expander, Limiter, Real-Time Analyser, AUTO EQ, SPL Metre dB(A), dB(C), dB(Z). Stereo or duel mono processing
A very useful piece of equipment
It fulfills all my requirements for the needs of a home studio. The combination of multi purpose modules in a single unit makes it more complicated in a user point of view, nevertheless, it has a user friendly interface and a detailed user manual which helps a lot.
The best tool for your studio.
A bit Gimmicky for the studio
Its probably excellent as a tool for live work. For the studio the widener is a bit gimmicky. Sounds amazing at first then after the excitement dies and you listen it is actually quite fatiguing. I wasn't to keen on the sound of the compressor and limiter, my TC tripple C sounds quite a bit better and can really squash. However I found the EQ to be very good and usable in a studio. I tried the AD DA converters and they are not bad at all if a little dated sounding.. AD into AES sounded good. Not Bad.. possibly not the best sounding studio tool around - Good value for money - some plugs might be easier to use etc
