Behringer DR600 Digital Reverb Reviews
Not Much To Say
You get what you pay for.
It wont last forever but for the money it's pretty good
Good sounding reverb
A great little pedal to have especially as its so inexpensive, and it sounds great too for the money but also in its own right and when paired with a synth it really opens a mono synth up especially the modulated reverb setting, makes a mono synth sound huge.
Nice Reverb!
Once again, Behringer delivers! It's a good-sounding reverb for little money. What I didn't expect when I bought the pedal, was that the different types of reverb would actually be distinguishable. But they are! One can hear the difference between spring, plate, room, etc. reverbs. And yes, the casing is still plastic and feels cheap, and there are better reverb pedals out there, but for this price I don't think there's better value. Specially if you're on a budget, or just want to try a new effect in your chain and whether you like it. I'm totally happy with this one!
Amazing little box!
Although not the most expensive I have found this to be a great Behringer unit for use in my home studio. It is well priced and does exactly what it says on the tin!
Great value for money
I'm using the pedal on vocals for rehearsals with my band - it's a really nice sounding reverb, just what I was looking for.
Reasonable for the money
Not the greatest reverb in the world, but not expensive either.
As long as you spend a little time setting it up and don't expect it to sound like it cost three times as much it is fine. Try to push it to extremes and it produces a lot of very obvious digital artifacts, but to add a little ambience for some cool blues it is fine.
Be warned that this is a platic box, so you can't expect to get away with too much rough handling. Excellent for home use but probably not something I would want to rely on for gigging.
Amasing
I’m very happy with product
Do the job.
Well the DR600 is supposedly a carbon copy of the famous BOSS reverb pedal, but is not! Using the pedal is very simple and intuitive, the effect rotary knobs are quite erratic: either the range is very short (tone) or drastic (wet), it is quite difficult to get the correct amount of wet/dry signal. ! Love from Belgium.
ok, nothing more
I ordered this pedal as I wanted to try out the Behringer line of affordable pedals. The sound quality is surprisingly good and everything works as it should. However, the build quality feels on par with the price of the pedal. The plastic case feels fragile and the controls are flimsy. It's ok for home use, but I wouldn't take it to a gig! For about 25 euros, the quality is ok for the price
nothing better for the price
PERFECT
This pedal is just what I needed and more. Cheap and affordable but not lacking in quality. Worth the purchase and essential to my set-up.
I have used it in several studio sessions for vocals as well as guitar and I love it!!!!
A treasure in a dull shell
It's designed to be stepped on and made of plastic. You do the math on that one
The sounds this thing produces are amazing but completely un-subtle. If youre looking for a little bit of shimmer to accentuate your clean sound well you better get the HECK OUT OF HERE because this thing is going to drench your sound in reverb and then fill a jar with reverb for you to take home with you.
It has wuite a few settings, but they are all just different flavours of completely un-subtle, over the top, grand canyon, deep space goodness.
Do not step on it too hard or it will shatter like a small child that is not allowed to drink milk. It is made of plastic for some reason. Why anyone would make something with "stomp" in the name out of plastic is beyond me, but hey I guess if you're careful not to stomp on your stomp box youll be fine.
To be honest with you I used this for about 10 minutes when I first got it and then it just became a Y splitter that I use to send my signal to two amps.
If you've bought a behringer pedal before, well its one of those.
Good reverb pedal but the only problem for me was that it came with no power supply and I had to source my own.Effects are really nice on vocals I haven't tried it on instruments.
Looking for an affordable reverb?
Behringer Pedals are easily my favorite pedal brand as of today, they are crazy inexpensive, and you get killer sound out of them for the price. The ONLY downside is that they are not in a metal enclosure, it's plastic, so your mileage may vary... But equivalent metal enclosure pedals go for way more expensive. So a Reverb on a Budget, this is your fix
Best reverb pedal for the price
Behringer pedals are as always in the best price-quality range of any brand.
i use this pedal with synths and it totally works fine, stereo in stereo out, several reverb types and a perfect amount of tuning aveilable (full wet, tone pot)
for the price is the best you can have.
A good pedal
It accomplishes its mission and price is unbeatable.
I have used it with bass and keyboard.
Surprisingly good and useful sound
I bought this to stick a drum machine through for live performances and I wasn't really expecting it to sound good enough. However, I was surprised to find the reverb dense enough to sound decent on percussive sounds. The inclusion of a gated reverb setting makes it particularly useful.
I'm quite fussy about reverbs and mainly use mechanical ones (springs, plate) or vintage digital rackmounted ones to record. I definitely wouldn't use the DR600 for that purpose (unless I wanted a certain gritty character) but for live use it's pretty decent and also had better features than many more expensive units.
Good for the price
You get what you pay for but is good enough for the average Joe.
Arrived broken
Never worked, so I can't say I would recommend buying one to anyone
Poor
I used this once. It sounded awful. I got rid of it. Not worth wasting your money. buy a decent one
