Behringer F1320D Monitor Reviews

Basic but effective. Good value.

This is a very good bit of kit for the price. Most 300w monitors weigh quite a lot, but this is actually very light. I like the fact that the controls are really basic, but are exactly the controls you need. No nonsense, and effective. The power is decent, though maybe not quite as loud as you might expect, but it still just about keeps up in a loud rock rehearsal. The one slight gripe I have is that the top end is a bit lacking, especially when the feedback killer is on, and the eq is calibrated for the whole frequency spectrum rather than for vocals, so for example rolling off the low end doesn't do much for vocal, but will affect kick drums. Either way, great for the money.

Excellent Monitor

I have just received this monitor and put it through it's paces today. I have to say, I am blown away by the sound quality - it is bloody brilliant! For such a cheap monitor, I was expecting to compromise on the sound quality but it is superb! Well done Behringer!

Decent value for the money

The sound on these monitors is pretty good but I find they can sound a bit "hollow" and

"boxey". I use two of these for monitoring the vocals for a fairly loud rock band, we play medium sized bars/clubs and they can handle the levels just fine. The features are

good, the feedback control works ok, but can also suck the "life" out of your sound if you are not careful. The build seems strong, I have had no problems with the reliability at all.

Keyboard monitor

Does the job well. I use it mainly for foldback from my keyboard submixer. Handles drum tracks and low-end just fine - I've even used it as a bass guitar amp! It's easy loud enough for use as a main amp for the average pub, club, or small outdoor gig.

It ain't a Mackie for sure but, for the price, it's damned good.
