Value for money

Old school and uncovenient in use with an unintuitive minimal interface; yet reliable and cheap and comes with two epression pedals. Best value for money hands down

No need for anything else.

Its doing everything, it feels good and durable and its no coincidence that you see it in most Axe-Fx (and not only) users worldwide. Really happy with it.

Regarding communication with my Axe-Fx, I was really worried cause I had no time to program it since I bought it on the way to the first gig of a month-long tour. Instead, I plugged it in, pressed a button and took me directly to the desired preset!

Best midi controller for this price

I especially love the versatility. With so many foot switches, the possibilities for fuzz free playing on stage are endless.

Using it with different Ipad apps - Loopy HD, Onsong, ...

This actually replaces half of my previous pedalboard.

Behringer FCB1010

There are not many available midi foot controllers out there, but no problem, the Behringer FCB1010 does the job. I'm using it with Digitech GSP 1101 and have another identical one for the Fractal AXE FX I, whatever guitar processor you use, this controller is the best choice. You might need to calibrate the expression pedals after u get it and look for a manual and/or guide online because the manual it comes with isn't very helpful. Other than that, I am very satisfied with it. Also, add a midi cable in the order (the box contains the pedal, manual, a sticker and a powercable)

Behringer SCB1010 - UNO for Kemper

Very strong well built controller. I replaced the standard chip with an UNO for Kemper chip which is very easy to do and takes about 15 minuites. Using 2 midi leads works perfect with Kemper (including looper control) and for the price is hard to beat.

Impossible to beat

For the price and purpose this FCB1010 midi pedal is simply amazing, i already bought 3. The sturdiness is amazing too. I use it with Bias FX (iOS iPAD), i use it live, in studio. A must have for performers.

Extremely versitile

I've been using this unit for 8 years now. I upgraded for 3rd party eeprom to extend its capabilities. Built like a tank. If it would be stolen, I would buy an another one.

Currently I use it with an Eleven Rack but previously it was worked perfectly with my Engl530+Gmajor 2 combo.

Great midi controller

I bought this to use with a Kemper profiling amp, it works extremely well, is well built (all metal chassis with hard plastic pedals). I can't see any problems with it at all.

Best sounding Behringer product out there

A product from Behringer that doesn't harm my sound (because it doesn't process any audio).

A bit tricky to programme but the editor software fixes that. Seems to be well built and it works - no issues to date.

Good value.

Great MIDI controller

This is a great MIDI foot controller. There are just the right number of switches and the two expression pedals are also a good bonus. In terms of build quality, it's pretty sturdy (and therefore pretty heavy). The switches/pedals are fine but don't have a very solid connection when pressed, in my opinion. It's only a very minor niggle, though.

This controller really benefits from the UnO firmware chip upgrade. It's very easy to do and I recommend it as it greatly increases the versatility of the switches.

There are so many ways that this thing can be used. Here are just a few ideas:

1. Controlling guitar amp emulation software (eg. Guitar Rig). It can be used to switch presets or activate/deactivate individual pedals in your virtual rig.

2. Controlling transcription software. I use MIDI -> keystroke software to play/pause/rewind etc without taking my hands off the guitar.

3. Controlling audio recording software. It's really useful to punch in/out recordings using your feet

Midi pedal for all purposes

The Behringer FCB1010 is a very robust, versatile and easy to use foot midi controller with 2 expression pedals.

I have been using the FCB1010 since 2005, I´m in on my second one (the first one was sold together with V-amp pro in 2010 but was still in very good condition).

The set-up's I have used the FCB1010 are:

1.

-FCB1010

-Marshall JMP1

-TC electronics G-major

2.

-FCB1010

-Behringer V-amp

3.

-FCB1010

-V-amp pro

4. (current set-up)

-FCB1010

-Fractal audio Axe FX 2 ultra

The FCB1010 has been working flawlessly with all of the above configurations. In all cases I have used a +10m midi cable.

In my current band both me and the other guitar player uses the FCB1010.

Pro's:

-A lot of programmable options (how you want the pedel to behave)

-Robust

-Durable

-High quality

-Easy to use

-Stable (stands still on the floor/stage)

-Direct connect to grid power (no power adapter in between)

-There are a lot of 3rd party chips that you can install in this pedal to get additional features such as tuner in the pedals display, different behaviour of the different switches etc.

Con's:

-A bit too tight between the expression pedals (sometimes wearing boots you can by misstake move the wrong expression pedal)

This is a product that I highly recommend!

great pedalboard

works a treat; very robust; great features (2 assignable "wah" pedals very useful feature); the only drawback is that, because so many programmable options are available, it is quite difficult to program.

Best Midi Pedal on the Market for the price.

Good all round midi pedal. constructed well but not the best out of whats available.

However still fantastic value for money and bios chip is modifiable and can be made customized to use with various units in the market today.

Very nice

But you should be a programmer to know how to set up some modes.

I read some days before i manage to use it the way I want it...but in the end all was ok.

After 1 month of usage it seems that it really has a lot of features and it preatty much does more then switching :)

Its alittle bit tricky in the beggining because you have to know what do you want the pedalboard to be used for. But it can send MIDI notes, change programs, pedal expresion and all sorts of stuff. Plus it can be upgraded to do other functions as well.

Very robust, durable in my opinion, over all a great product!

Don't count on internet preprograming software for 20 bucks... in the end it will be better if you program it yourself, and it won't take that much time anyway. Otherwise, I'm happy with this piece with it's price

Good quality

The Behringer FCB-1010 is a classical midi-board. I bought it to use it within my Kemper Profiling amp. The options provided by the board are versatile. You can use 12 switches an 2 pedals which can be configured as you need it. So I can easily use the board to control my KPA .

The quality of the board is quite good. It is very stable. The gap between the food switches could be a little wider if I use the board at home an have clocks at my feets it is not that easy to click only the right switch. But using normal shoes it is not a big problem.

You can find a lot of information about how to use this board at the web. So it is easy to get information how to use the board within a lot of stuff you want to use the board with. But the fact that the board is used by so many people is not only helpful in this case, it also tells you what I also will say: I would buy it again. The price is very hot!

Good Controller!

I bought this controller mainly for using it with guitar emulation software in a live setting (Guitar Rig, Amplitube and TH2). It also does a great job for controlling a DAW software, in my case REAPER.

First of all the manual is not that great, but useful for getting started.

But on the other hand there is plenty of support via internet with a large community of users. Like many others, i like to program the controller via a pc editor, and after a short internet search i found a very good freeware software for doing that. I really like the integrated power supply and the overall build quality of the FCB1010. Especially for the price, it's an absolute recommendation!

Brilliant piece of equipment

Contrary to popular belief, programming this controller is as easy as following the manual step by step! Currently using it as a footswitch board to toggle sounds and effects on my Nord Stage.

Pedal sweep angle is rather small, about half of the usual pedal sweep. Needs some getting used to. Switch buttons are stiff and sturdy, just a bit small if you have large feet and shoes on.

Two of the foot switches can be used as analog switches - i.e. routed through foot switch jack instead of midi jack. I found this to a be really useful feature as it allows me to program one of the switch buttons as a sustain pedal for my Nord Stage.

Build quality is excellent, doesn't feel flimsy like other Behringer products.

The FCB1010 + UNO chip = bang for the buck

I lacks features and is difficult to program, but all this is opposite when using UNO and the FCB/UNO Controlcenter

Great cheap midicontroller

While perhaps not being the most modern midi controller today since it has been around for quite a few years now, it is still unbeatable for the price as far as i know and still a very good controller.

I own two of these since a number of years that are used at gigs and rehearsals and they have never failed me.

I use the free FCB PC editor by ED Dixon with graphical interface for programming it since day one, this is where half of the value in getting one of these is. I wouldnt want to program it without an editor though, it really makes it much easier. There are other editors for the FCB1010 available as well.

While it is priced for beginners it certainly would work for just about anyone, myself im not a beginner having played guitar for over 30 years and play at what maybe could be called a semi-pro level.

There are other more advanced controllers out there, but usually they are much more expensive and there is often no editor available.
