Behringer NR300 Noise Reducer
Effects pedal

Sounds good; It works.
Was curious if it really is as good as people online say it is .. bottom line - it works and does it's job. While it may seem obvious to some people - turns out it's made from PLASTIC; It feels extremely cheap *duhh..*
Disappointed
It takes too much time to react to sound going below the threshold. What am I talking about? I hit a power chord, then rapidly mute everything with both my hands, and then after half a second this noise gate starts suppressing the noise. But the threshold was set as low as possible and the decay was set to "min"!!! So, in this case, the noise gate wasn't really doing much. This is pointless. If you're OK with this noise gate having a very slow reaction, you shouldn't have any problems. However, if you want a noise gate to engage almost instantly, don't waste your money on this one and invest in something better. I guess, there can't be cheap and at the same time decent noise gates.
pointless purchase
this doesnt seem to do much and its built with very flimsy plastic.
you get what you pay or but its a false economy. i splashed out on a decimator instead,
Good noise gate on a budget
I was looking for a cheaper noise gate and found this gem. It has a plastic housing which feels kind of cheap but it's been on my pedalboard for over a year now and it works perfectly. It does exactly what it's supposed to. I run it in a loop mode with my pedals and my signal, even high gain, is quieter than ever. If you're on a budget and need a noise gate/suppresor you can't go wrong with this pedal. Just don't throw it across the room, I guess, and it won't break xD
Gets the job done
I use a very affordable / cheap Daisy Chain that created some low buzzing and this Noise Reducer got the job done .. keeping things sounding the way I want it to sound
Inexpensive. The plastic case will probably not last for heavy stage use. I bought one as some of my keyboards are pretty noisy. (Mellotron and a Soviet "string machine.") It works fine for those. It does require a pretty hot signal. With a noisy line level synthesizer (or preamp) it does the task for which it is designed.
However, it is useless with a Rhodes piano.
It does the job on an affordable way
It still may have an extremely low amount of noise on higher volumes but it else does the job pretty well, knobs could be a little better from the feeling and it's built in a plastic case, else well it's good at what it's supposed to do, even if i grab my noisy compression-sustainer-pedal, so all in all price to performance is pretty well especially considering how cheap it is
does the task great
dont let the "cheap" price fool you it works great and does exactly what is needed from a noise pedal
Bang for your buck !
A simple pedal that does exactly what you need for a very reasonable price tag
boss ns-2 on a budget!
Does what you expect it and does it great!
