Problem seeing channel number or something else. I need to change how the light shines on the Rack Mixer.

quite annoying.

Behringer RX1202FX V2

a simple cheap mixer which you should think about when buying this unit. It does what it says on the tin but does have limitations and some simple little fixws, the unit is rack mount and when it is you find the on off switch at the back of the unit, so for some its going to be a pain because sometimes you cannot get to it. still never mind its just one of those things and all my other units have the on off button on the front.... the shannel stips are simple and really good to use, the eq is either more bass or more highes, thats it, no 4 band eq etc this is a basic mixer and thats what you get. the effects are easy to use and sound ok for the work you will be doing with this, if you want different effects on different channels you will need to spend some more moeny on your mixer. all the ins and outs are on the back so again if this is going to be in a rack then it needs to be wired up first. the unit is light and protable but I would not use it for anything more that a monitor set up, 80mm faders work nice and again if you want more say 100mmm or flying faders then this is not the unit for you. I bought the unit for my home studio but found that I was for ever taking it out of the rack to plug things in and out. poor planning and not thought through when I ordered it so my fault, the real use I would say is get a stand a lone mixer you ca get too, you could use this in a barr to run your back ground music but for me it does not replace a full mixer and for the price although cheap its only real use would be in a set up where you will not need access to the in puts and you only want very basic eq.. Each channel has a clip red light which is ok but the led metre is pointless. 2 green 1 amber and 1 red does nothing for anyone, if your using a daw it does not give you the quality you need when mastering..... Sorry im only putting the bad points down, it is what it is but functionality you need to have a good think about the use your going to put it to.

Rack Mixer for my synths

So i am using this product for my synthesizers. I record and use the sound through my tascam model 24 mixer.

I never had any problems with any noise as some youtube reviewers and i also had no other problems. all and all its ok as a simple mixer.

The effects are really bad. Very bad sounding effects but i didn't expect any different for that price. On the other hand the effects can be used on electronic sounds, but that depends on someones aesthetics. Sometimes in my ear the effects give something more when i am experimenting with synthesizers but i would never use the effects on acoustic instruments, electric guitars, voicals, etc.

Now in total for that price it does worth buying this mixer. Especially if you just want a reference sound, live sound so you can jam or even for home studio recordings.

Unbeatable price

This rack is priced so low, it is really hard to believe. I use it my practice space to create a sub-mix of the drums to send to the musicians' headphone monitor mixes, and it works perfectly. The EQ is very basic with only high and low, and the FX are just OK without many options to changing them, but for the price, it is hard to complain. The unit runs very quietly with pretty clean sounds, maybe a bit of accentuated harsh high end, but overall, this is unit is a great value.

Great on stage

A great tool for use on stage, an smaal and easy to handle mixer that has everything you need on stage as a pre-mixer (for drums or keyboards), as a monitor mixer or even as an end-mixer for smal bands or small venues.

Top rack mixer

I had it in my studio for a few weeks now as a sub mixer for my synths and drum machines, everything works perfectly fine without any audible noise. You get a lot of value for your money including balanced inputs and outputs, useful EQ's and FX, great also that is inserts on channels 1-8. One star deducted for the missing mute buttons.
