Behringer S32

Awesome solution for less cable.

Although the mapping between X-Air 32 and S32 is a bit “laborious”, you only do it once and you’re ready to go. It’s a bit pricey compared to snake cables, but highly recommended if you want less cable as possible and your budget can afford. I have a 50 meters CAT5 cable and for that length the signal is currently reliable.

Comprehensibility

For 2 x Cat 6 cable you can have 32 + 16 out setup, it is really helpful for installation, I highly recommend for installation

Perfect Companion for X32 Ecosystem

Get this unit. Perfect companion. Plenty of Ins and Outs. Auxillary outputs and inputs at the rear for ADAT etc.

Excellent product

Digital stagebox fits perfect for my needs, together with klark cable roll 50m is great combination to give my x32 compact full 32 channels, with slick look. Its mounted inside rack beside stage. After owning it for half a year i havent had any problems whatsoever yet. Highly recommend!

excellent .... Best thing since Sliced Bread

When i Got this i flightcased it with a rack light. Absolutely love it. Cat 5E in and away you go.

When using Cat 5E Always use a long enough cable up to 90m as far as im aware . My experience of joining cat 5 cables even using the proper neutrik joiners has not being good. I have brought up this point with Behringer and they said they never tested the joining of cables on this product. It works flawlessly if you use a cable directly from the desk to the unit. I have a cat 5 multi with a stage box at one end and tried to use a 5m patch lead from the stage box to the S32 but the audio keeps stalling. It only ever happens when i join a cable. Its only an advisory note so you dont get caught out.

The unit is great and a much better buy than the S16s
