Woow
Just bought a second one. Love it. Really good on an acoustic guitar and spoken word. Wouldn't use it on a big stage because of feedback
low noise affordable microphone
I used it everyday for video calls and also recordings. I own other expensive mics but this one holds its own. Very low noise and clear sounding microphone. Builtin low cut helps a lot with voice when you don't have any processing. It's amazing for the price! I can recommend it for live vocals too.
Good value for money.
One of the local churches had problems with the dynamic mics feeding back through the induction loop. Changing to a cheap condenser mic solved the problem. The quality is OK considering the price, but no more than OK.
Definite improvement
I was using a dynamic mike for vocals in my home studio. This one though is a big improvement for someone on a budget. To me it sounds just fine for making music and videos. My classical guitar was sounds very crisp recorded through this mike compared to my old dynamic which was boomy. I like how it is not so sensitive in picking up too much background noise for I do not have an ideal recording room. The low pass filter switch just seems odd but does the job. You need long fingernails or a pin to switch it.
One of my best
Still have to research about mics cause my other two including one coming with PA system not good while being from same manufacturer, probably have to do with condenser part, not sure, but very sensitive/good mic.
Good value
Purchased as a backup and an extra microphone for certain settings but it serves it's purpose. Great value for money.
Probably one of the best cheap microphones on the market!
I use this microphone for small demo recordings and to talk to buddies on Discord and I gotta say compared to the Blue Yeti (which I previously owned) it is fantastic. It picks up no background noise even in a completely untreated room. All in all I'm very satisfied with my small investment and I strongly recommend this microphone!
Used for home recording
good warm sound, can't find any other mic with the same sound quality for the price
I've had this microphone a while now (months) it been sat on the shelf for a while I got it as a back up to my Shure SM87 condenser, which was my preferred mic, but Not no more? this Behringer SB 78A blows my Shure SM87 out the water for vocal sound, Clarity absurdly price, it's a no brainer. I've got a few Sennheisers and descent wireless setup. But this Behringer is a little diamond, if your looking purchase a stage handheld microphone save your self some money and time searching youtube reviews, I've done it for you !
have a great day
Cheers Bryan
Very nice mic for it's price.
I bought a vocal condenser microphone for some recordings. I haven't really used a lot of mics before. I really like the sound of this microphone. It sounds very good, it has no noise and the quality of the product is good too. It's not the best, but is definetly very good.
Pros:
Sound quality
Lack of any extra noise
Low cut switch is like an EQ and it's very good
Cons:
Build quality is good for the price but still not the best. But it's good.
EQ switch is very hard to turn.
I recommend this microphone to anyone who is searching for their first good microphone.
