This kind piece of equipment I have use in live performance about 10 years or maybe more. Of Course is a different kind of models, but i still have in my rack space. Not so long ago I order BBE SONIC MAXIMIZER 882I for my home studio. And believe me, once again I discover that BBE doing amazing things with my sound. I can explain like this 1. From very poor sound in the high frequency, I got rich and more present. 2. From dark sound in the lower frequency I got very good and punch bass. I guess that every body can hear that the high and low frequency is changing. But there is something else, I wan to so say. TRY TO PLAY IN LIVE PERFORMANCE ALL NIGHT WITH, BBE. AND THEN PLAY THE LAST SONG WITHOUT, BBE. Then you will understand what BBE doing with the sound.

I can't really imagine to work with voice overs without our SPL Tube Vitalizer. This device makes the voice clearer and more pleasant to listen to. It is also perfect for processing choirs in an arrangement and some instruments with a "heavy" center. It nicely raises high frequencies and raises the bass to a completely different dimension. The device has been used by me for many years and does not cause problems. It will definitely remain one of the main devices we use and will use in the future. I own both Vitalizers and each have their own characteristics but the sound from this is powerful and like nothing that can be achieved from an eq. You want decent rounded low end , youve got it .. you want the top to sparkle ? its there .. you want a bit more clarity in the mids , easy ... a bit of extra field you say? not a problem ... all this and not a drop of noise .. lovely ! These days it comes into play along side my 9530 when im not getting what i need straight from that for a bit more power ... cant see myself ever selling it. Only down side is when using the stereo expander i find it hangs to the right a bit, but its not a problem really as i have several options on level inputs and outputs throughout the hardware. I wanted to get one of these Bad boys after seeing a DJ on youtube explain how they work. This is so easy to use and set up you literally just run your sound through it with patch cables ( jack leads) but the sound you get once it is running is so good you wont believe your ears. What it does is basically send the bass and tops signal out at the same time and harmonizes them so you get clear deep bass and clear high tops ( I know those are not scientific terms) I use this as part of my set so I have sound from my mixer into the sonic maximizer, then into the crossover and then the amp! I have used mine ever since I got it and it will now be in my rack forever and ever and ever etc. Fantastic piece of kit and you will be amazed how nice your bass and tops sound with this running through...
