Roland FR-1X BK

This instrument packs a big punch for its size. Ideal for stand up concert spots or 3 hour gigs of any sort. As a person who mainly uses my accordion through a Pa it is a dream to be able to just plug in a jack lead and away I go. No connecting up condenser mics and dealing with feed back etc. Can be powered with mains or battery. Played an outdoor gig recently and usually I would have problems if wind was blowing on accordion mic. No such problem now. I also midi accordion through my Yamaha Tyros. With the Roland I have less midi cables and a more precise sound as I am not depending on built-in midi contacts in traditional accordion. It is essential to set up this accordion to your liking and save the settings. Nice selection of Accordion sounds, Scottish Cajun etc and also various...

I have played acoustic accordion for years, and the Fr4xI sure did meet my expectations. Very satisfied with the wide choice of perameter control over the Sounds & Bellows. 100% in that respect. (Cons)! The feel of the accordion casing is not of good quality, especially at the outer edge of the keyboard. The keyboard is not fast enough, especially for repeat notes. I would suggest to Roland not to have to depress the keys so far (treble) side. and also lower the height of the black keys slightly (treble). Apart from that I would recommend it AAA+

It's a really solid little accordion. It has 3 stops but in reality it only really has 2 different sounds but they are very nice sounds. It has great projection for it's size, it's easy to use, I've performed with this for a few months now and it fills a larger room pretty well. If you're slightly larger like me, I'd recommend getting straps from somewhere else just because they come undone when putting on and taking off the accordion but the straps that come with it aren't bad really. I only gave 4 stars quality because I had a little bit of an issue with one of the stop switches being a bit out of alignment (which is fine now) and it does have a smaller rattle. Overall however, 10/10 would recommend! I'm very happy.
Hohner Bravo II 60 Black silent key

I bought this as I play with a neighbour and we use his log cabin which is a bit of a walk away. I play the accordion and the guitar so was often carrying both and sometimes also a little amp. A standard accordion is a bit of a carry, especially in the dark down a farm track! I have a Strandberg guitar which is light and easy to carry so that was the guitar sorted (it is a beauty). So what about the accordion? When I took the 60 out of the box my first impressions were that it looks such a tintsy little thing, a toy really. I did worry that the bases looked too small for my clumpy fingers. However, when I started playing it the bases were fine - I did not really notice any real difference from my standard machine. One thing I did notice was that it kicks out a mighty sound from what is a...
Startone Piano Accordion 120 IV Black

For far less money than you would normally pay for an instrument of these features, it is amazing! But then it is not a top quality, just amazing for the price. What a heavy brute though, and loud when you want it. I like the tone, but do not have a 10,000 pound instrument to compare it to. Fully featured, 4 banks of treble reeds and 4 banks of bass, selectable in various configurations. So, not 13 sets of reeds as advertised, but I had worked that out before I purchased. Why no 5 star? Out of the hundreds of reeds, two are not working properly. I suspect dust shaken onto the reed during transit and will have to get the thing apart and have a look, but in general playing, I do not even notice. So, other than having to build up strength in my arms to play the thing, I am very happy and it...
