Fantastic Headset

This is a fantastic headset, the microphone is clear and has a nice flat frequency response (similar to a large diaphragm condenser surprisingly - the sE1x comes to mind). The headphones have a bit of a low end boost but if you don't mind it (or can just EQ it flatter like I did) they're surprisingly good - other than the bass bump they sound similar to a pair of DT150s. Overall I would recommend the DT797 if you're looking to invest in a great headset.

head hoop

This message is for the manufacturer.

Clamps for the head hoop, you need to make NOT FROM PLASTIC. It needs to be made of metal.

Pretty quickly breaks down and becomes unusable.

Thank.

Very Good

Very satisfied with the purchase in your store. Headset is great. The quality of the recording on the microphone met expectations. Recommend DT 797 PV

Works wonders.

Best headset I've owned, sits a little tight but you can loosen it up by stretching it for a while. Solid main cable, the split leaves quite short cables for the mic and phones which can be problematic if you have a 19" racked AI with mic in on the far left and phones on the far right it will not reach.

The leather ear pads can easily be replaced with the DT770 velour ear pads for use in longer periods.
