Nicely made piece of kit, looks great on a traditional style guitar- I fitted mine to an ES335, and it's perfect for that subtle rolling vibrato typical of early rock'n'roll, assisted by some deep reverb or short delay, so the pitch drop gives a chorus effect. Nice. Note that if you're fitting it yourself, some skill in ensuring no binding at the nut or bridge is needed, and also - I used a Vibramate to save drilling my pristine '97 335, and you need to work carefully when tightening the bolts that hold down the Bigsby, as the horseshoe casting is liable to some slight flexing, and if it gets out of alignment, the main bearings on the string retaining shaft can bind and cause the arm to fail to return to the balanced zero rest point.

The Bigsby arriaved just in time for it to be fitted for a gig the next day. All packaging was fine considering the long journey it had undertaken. The product too, was excellent and really finished the tone of my guitar! Looking forward to my next order!

The logical evolution in classically styled vibrato.. The improved design and engineering quality of the Diamond Deluxe over similar products is impressive… A beautifully smooth bearing system which eliminates much of the tuning instability often encountered with this style makes it a joy to use, whether inducing mild ‘50s vibrato, or more tonal obvious variation, and improved string retention is a bonus when re-stringing… It’s not a modern two-point floating unit designed for “Dive bombing” or other aggressive techniques, and as such requires a fair bit of work if you want to “Go wild” In contrast to similarly styled more expensive systems, the operation is silky smooth, and in combination with the less bulky, flawlessly finished casting,...
