Seriously best wide stereo sound for vocal and guitar
The microphone channel is so top of the line: best wide stereo, best harmonic enhancement, best dynamics management. Singing through this amp is like heaven. Guitar channel is very good but doesnt really have much options (no mid EQ pot), however the implementation is so good, you can simply boost the high and low and that will cut the mids without messing with phasing. I am an audio DSP engineer and I am just blown by this engineering. Awesome work! Amp is ridiculously simple to use as it is almost impossible to get bad sound out of it. It is loud enough for open air busking too. Much louder than I anticipated. Blackstar you are awesome engineers with good ears!
Fantastic acoustic amp
I bought this as i wanted a small, light, bedroom amp. This amp is perfect. Its really light but feels sturdy. The sound is lovely for both mic and guitar. Has the blackstar trrs connection for streaming / recording using your phone camera.
Its very impressive, you can connect to your phone so that the camera works to video but the audio is straight from the amp.. very cool feature.
I definitely recommend this amp. Its a great amp at a great price.
Pros.. lightweight, great sounding, great value for money.
Cons.. none
