Super travel amp for bass

Great, small amp for portable use. Super sound for the size, and the extra sub-controller gives a very nice bass tone. Get many hours of playing on one set of batteries, and works well with a battery eliminators as well. The distorted channel isn't great, but all in all ,well worth the money.

Portable yes, but can't put up with a 5 string bass

Sounds half decent and it's a very good choice for practicing everywhere.

However it does not stand much Bass... It distorts too soon with 5 string bass.

Works good for home practice

Stange noise fromo the amp when playing.

Sounds like it might be a bad speaker.

Small in the eye but a great amp for practice. I highly recommend it!

The best bedroom bass amp

I bought this amp to learn playing the bass at home.

I had great experience with the guitar version of the Fly 3, so this amp was definitely on my radar.

After reading comments on various forums I was a bit afraid that the bass wouldn't sound too good with the amp, and for this reason I contemplated purchasing the Yamaha THR10 which supposedly has a bit more punch. I ultimately ended up choosing this model (I admit that the price was an important point to consider), hoping that it would be enough for learning purposes.

Thankfully I made a great choice. The volume is definitely loud enough to fill my apartment. The sound is also pretty good, the deeper bass tones feel very smooth. I also love that it can run on batteries, so I can play wherever I feel like.

Overall I'm very happy with my purchase, I don't think anyone can go wrong with this product.

Great product

Good volume and surprisingly full sound for such a small amp. Good control over the tone, as well. Perfect amp for travel or to use in a block of flats, where bigger, stronger amps would get you kicked out :D

Cute practice amp

This is a nice little amp for practicing at low volume. Don't expect a lot more (especially for this price!), but it does the job and it's built pretty well. The Eq section gives you some versatility and the volume is more than adequate. On the other hand, the compressor section is pretty bad but...I guess it's understandable. Overall, if you're looking for a practice amp, I think it's a good choice.

Good little amp.

I've been using this amp for a day, I wanted something I could practice with and move around. This was a great choice. It sounds good considering the size and wattage. You can get some nice tones on it, a few more features than you would find on anything else of this price range. It's battery operated so you don't have to plug in(unless you buy the power supply serperately).

The amp has a bit of weight to it, which is good as it doesn't move around too easily. However the housing is a little flimsy, the plastic I can see will be easily broken no doubt. Be careful not to drop off the coffee table.

Other than the housing I can't really complain about anything else. It sounds good, it's got an overdrive channel, a clean channel and has some nice sounds. If you're you're looking for something to practice with this is perfect, it's quite small and can be stored away very easily.

Does the job, as expected

I use this small amp as a practice amp- I live in an apartment so I do not want to make too much noise. For a small and reasonably priced amp, it has quite a few features. I really like the compression feature as it allows you still to hear the deep tones despite its small size. It is small enough to pack in a small suitcase and does not take much storage space, which is a great advantage.

I have two minor issues with the item. One is that the knob for one of the eq controls came off soon after I bought it. It can still be put in place and does not change the function at all, but I have to be careful when adjusting it so that I do not pull it off. So far it is only one knob that has come off, but we will see if the other ones hold up. The second one is that the power adapter must be bought separately. I understand why this is done - to allow the adapter to be sold appropriately by region - but both items were not available at the same time, so I had to wait until they were before I could purchase and use them.

A Wonderful Mobile Bass Amplifier

This amplifier is definitely good for out-door events, busking or practice at home.

It is very compact and lightweight, could be easily put into a gigbag and taken around. With 6 AA fully charged AA batteries, it could last at least 2 hours playing with medium volume.

The sound is louder than I've expected, at least loud enough for playing in an open area with some friends playing guitars at the same time. With 2 channels, and knobs for gain, EQ and compressor, the tone from this amplifier can be quite versatile. However, it is still too quiet playing with a drum kit in a small room, and it lacks some low-end tone. But one cannot expect too much from an amplifier with only 3 watt power.
