Wonderful tool

Found out about this from a friend. Was using an iConnect midi4 and this is by far very capable and very tweak able. Love the network poe port. And the midi driver you install on the Mac. And on the iPad. Got my whole studio setup after figuring out the web editor. Smooth sailing so far. Highly recommended if your gonna put the time in to setup everything you need.

Can't live without it

This device solves so many problems that it's almost impossible to list all the uses. If you have any kind of MIDI signal that needs to be converted, re-routed, or re-channelized on the fly, this will do it. I highly recommend getting a powered USB hub because this will allow you to connect an almost unlimited number of USB MIDI devices, and get them communicating with each other without the need for any other hardware. If you want to be really crazy, you can even get *two* BomeBoxes and have them communicate with each other wirelessly - so you can sequence hardware devices that aren't even physically connected. I'm doing just that, and I've even got it programmed (via Bome's MIDI Translator Pro) so that when I play a note on a hardware synthesizer, it automatically arms the appropriate track on a sequencer on the other side of the room. Just amazing.

What you need to root midi information?

This is perfect for marge, translating, rooting even turn hid devices into midi. A lot of possibilities. Easy to use and configure.

Powerful stuff

Very powerful, loads of potential ... but a learning curve to climb

A good tool

Takes a bit of time to learn how to use it, but when you learn it ? it does wonders.

Basic operation is quite easy to use. The box is made of plastic, but feels sturdy. It isn?t heavy so it is a great tool to have with you if you tour with a live rig.
