Needs power cable
It feels a bit useless to have to buy all the miscellaneous equipment, a bundle which included 9v power cable as well as your pedal would be helpful and help save some money.
best overdrive pedal ever made
Amazing
Can't go wrong with one of the most used pedals in industry, even Joshua Homme used this thing!!

For the price perfect. Might be a bit to mid focused for some amps but works for my aplication.
The best boost for Marshall amp
Just bought it to replace my Ibanez TS mini ... using it with Marshall JMD:1 head to boost built in preamp sounds. The sound is much better than Ibanez TS - overall there is no additional unwanted colorization of the sound, just pure boost and that's exactly what I was looking for.
Wouldnt leave home without it
No complaints, just a great overdribe. It's easy to dial in the perfect amount of overdrive, whether you want a subtle crunch or full-on saturation. Built like a tank just like all the boss pedals, a true classic!
I was looking for quite a bit for a versatile overdrive, which can be a subtle always-on thing to sweeten the sound a bit, but can also bite if I wanted it to. Boy, did this one deliver. After going through a lot of boutique stuff, I was honestly surprised, that this one would be the one. And it's dirt cheap and built like a tank. Love it.
Very good all rounder
Been using this pedal for the past few months playing a range of blues, rock and punk. It is super versatile for all sorts of genres, and I’ve been using it a bit for my bass, which it also works a charm for. Only complaint I’d have is that the volume knob fell off mid set, but was easily glued back on afterwards. Overall a very solid pedal
Use it for what it is designed!
You might not like that mid-range tone it produces, however this pedal exists to make you punch through the mix in a live setting! Indispensable when you need to be heard on stage!
Very good.
I have 2 boost pedals, this and the TS808 pro. I'm playing through a Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 50w. I've always heard that the SD1 is a Marshalls best friend. Well, I prefer the TS808. The 808 just has slightly more everything, but it's most notable in the low end. The SD1 takes away too a bit too much for my preference. When I play the SD1, I feel "I just want a little more" and the TS808 gives me exactly that. The SD1 might work better in a mix because of it though, and it's certainly not bad. If I had to choose between this and the TS808 pro I'd take the TS808 no doubt. If I had no choice and was given the SD1 I would be pretty happy too.
