Boss SL-2 Slicer

As I expected : the Slicer effect with many variations. I have to try out the boss tone box yet. Looks very TC-toneprint. It was a bit difficult to find the "simple slicer" setting that has a more steady, unbroken 8note rythm. This is the one that interests me in the first place. It was on single1-var8. But it's on it and thats good. Slicer is a special synth like effect you must like and need. I must say that for this effect the MD - 200 slicer is as good as the single pedal. I like the set-up on the MD200 even more. You want a slicer ? Buy this simple sl-20 or the big MD200. It goes beyond the most hard edged square waved tremolo effect and has that touch of synth.

Amazing pedal

The sounds you can create are amazing.

I play metal music, at first I thought that I will not find the use of it but I was wrong. When I start experimenting with it, I found that I can use it for some symphonies atmospheric sounds which I really like.

But there are much more uses for this pedal. Boss really hit it with this one. Very innovative pedal!

Not for my purpose

The sound it can generate is fantastic. But for me it's too fiddly using it in a life situation with an electric guitar won't work quick enough for me. Could be nice for recording i guess. Send it back
