Top quality

Great sound from an amp that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. The amp has master and channel volume meaning that you can get it sounding great even at bedroom volume. You can read alot of horror stories around the web conserning bugera amp but mine is working flawlessly.

I love it. Give it a try if you are looking for a great heavy metal tone

Great at amp at low cost

I use this amp in my studio for reamping guitars and sometimes for band rehearsals. I also own an Engl savage 120 and I have to say that the sound coming out of Bugera is similar to that of the savage with the former having better low end response, something that was obvious when I reamped the same signal using the same setup (cabinet, mics etc). Moreover, the Bugera amp doesn't "feel" robust, many chinese parts and although the design is very good it "looks" somewhat cheap. If I had to take an amp out on the road for gigs I wouldn't take this amp, I don't think it could handle it very well, that is why it stays in the studio for reamping, and this, it does well. The power tubes are nice, but didn't like the preamp tube, but that's what a tube amp is like, you have to experiment with different tubes. It is versatile with it's 3 band EQ per channel and I like the XL switch assigned at the crunch and lead channel. For the price tag, it is a good deal, but handle it with care.

Bugera

I have owned this head for a little while now and have come to love it! It certainly packs a punch at 120 Watt! I couple this head with the matching cabinet and it sounds great!. The head has 3 channels which is great for having access to different gain settings between crunch and lead channels at a push of a button. The 3 band EQ when altered to achieve a desired tone is very responsive. With scooped mids you can achieve very dirty drop tuned kinds of tones for example for Dream Theater sort of style playing; and if you plug a strat or vintage tele into to the low gain guitar input with a nice amount of mids and highs you can achieve true ''Gilmore'' textures.

This amp also has a great clean channel, very pristine with a good bottom end, and amazing features such as the infinium tech which allows you to change a valve mid gig if need be as no biasing is needed and valves do not need to be matched pairs. You can also use combos of 6L6 and EL34 at any given time. Not only that but the amp tells you via led which valve has blown! An FX loop is also a brilliant feature of this amp even though a lot of amps have them it is nice to use it with this one.

You couldn't go wrong with this amp for the money.. By far the best in the price range. I would say this is a beginner valve amp but have proved to myself and others that this amp can keep up with some of the best without question.

5 Star Great amp.

Bugera 333XL Infinium

The Bugera 333XL Infinium has a lot of gain: Too much gain for me. Of course the clean channel sounds... clean! I will try with other preamp tubes, maybe 12au7 or similar to keep the gain down on the Crunch and lead channels. I use this amp with two small Marshall cabs with two Celestion 12" speakers in each cab. The sound is really nice especially if you take in consideration the price. The footswitch seems to be sturdy enough for the road. 3 channels and the FX boost too really cut through when you play a a solo is a nice extra. This amp just feels right!

Excellent amp!

I would really recommend this amp! I use it for mainly melodic hard rock and metal but I am sure that it would work very well for most music styles. It has three channels which are all very good, very nice clean sound, the crunch channel has all the distorsion you would need for rythm guitar and the lead channel even more distorsion. It is very easy to dial in a great sound. Quality wise, so far I have not noticed any problems. For me this amp is not "only very good for the price", it is plainly very good! The only thing i can think of that would be good to have is the possibility to control the channel swithing though midi.

I can highly recommend this amp!

Bugera 333xl

The bugera 333xl is a very nice sounding sturdy amp. Amazing sound for the price. The head has a built in noise gate and reverb with separate knobs to control them. The design of the head is really nice and the amp looks great in the dark when those tube lights up! The tubes are easily replaceable. I use the bugera for playing metal mainly because of the fat low end, but it also has a clean channel and a crunch channel.. I use the head with a bugera cabinet and it sounds really good. Theres also a 4ohms/ 8ohms / 16ohms selector at the back to match your speaker cabinet. The head also has a line out, and send/return. The head alone weights about 20kgs.

Bugera 333XL Infinium

I own 2 of these 120w amps and have equipped one with 6L6s and one with EL34s. The sound is very different. With 6L6s the sound is smooth but still has bite and clearly defined with the gain on tap far more than required for Metal, Rock or Blues. The EL34s provide more midrange punch but to me but are not so pleasing on the guitars upper frets. The Onboard reverb is clear and smooth and not noisy. I am not a fan of the onboard noise gate and use an external one through the superb FX loop.I Play PRS guitars and Strats and all sing through these amps.
