Amazing amp for its money

Just to inform you from a time-to-time hobby musician trying to 'wiggle his fingers' from time to time: This is an amazing bass amp. For the amount of money this Bugera BXD15A is worth every penny ! The options are basic, but do work very useful. Compressor is good and the overall sound is clear and warm. (I do play pop and try jazz) Simply Tops ! I have a home-brew kabinet, but this will go to the skip. The Bugera is here for > 6 months now and I had so much fun with it, so no more quicks with home brew stuff.

For a (beginner) bassist with tight budget this is a very good bass amp, and I am quite certain you will enjoy it the same as I do.

What a superb bass amp

I ve played with lots of amps and i have the tendency to break the limits of every cabinet i plug in. This little monster is the only one that can cope with my active yamaha bass. Big true sound with lots of power but can be used just for a small room rehearsal. So versatile. Really love it,

No better for the money

I brought this amp for rehearsing. It does the job. Gain at 4 and volume at 5 with the -15 dB switch gets over an acoustic drumkit and a lousy guitar player. As expected in terms of sound it can be a bit muddy since the 15-inch speaker. EQ is responsive. The Ultra-Low and Ultra-High switches are not everybody's cup of taste. In a live situation, it can handle being a monitor in front of your feet, wedged back, and connected with the DI to the front of house.

Pros:

-Sturdy and well made

-Loud and responsive

-A lot of features

Cons:

-Heavy, it is 22kg.

-The speaker itself is rated 140w. I don't know why they boast that it is 1000w anywhere.

-No wheels at the bottom.

In general, for the price, you cannot get better. Bear in mind that you may find small issues, my master volume got a bit noisy after the 4th day.

Small amp...Big sound

Fantastic sound for such a small light amp, great for rehearsals & live gigs, tried a few small amps but for this price i don't think you can better it

A great Bass Amp

I have owned the Bugera BXD15A for the last 15 months. I have gigged with it and its loud enough the bass is low and the mids are responsive. For the cost not a lot of other bass amps come close. I recommend the amp down to its abilities on volume clarity and manageability. Improvements I'd add caster wheels and a retractable handle to manoeuvre it better for the working bass player with all there other gear to carry with them. Thumbs up on this amp.
