Lehle Dual SGoS

The build quality is excellent; very sturdy. The device works exactly as i expected and i get a clear signal out from both channels. I chose this after reading plenty of recommendations in forums. After contacting Lehle I decided to power it with a standard UK stomp box power supply rather than get a Lehle one as that only had euro connectors. I use it to to send my guitar output to both my physical guitar rig and directly into the computer so I can either virtually re-amp without losing that 'perfect take' or quickly lay down demos with virtual amps without needing to spend any time at all setting up to record my physical guitar rig. This workflow is brilliant for capturing ideas as you think of them without any fuss or even having to plug in alternative cables.

Lehle P-Split III

Use-case for now is splitter to two amps at same time, but also the re-amp possibility will be tested soon. Because of the passive implementation, some scenarios are not possible like converting signals to Hi-Z (Guitar) to Low-Z (Line level e.g. recording input), this means that your receiving input still needs to be able to handle Hi-Z. Low-Z can be output as Hi-Z, making a re-amping setup possible (sending your recorded guitar signal to an amp). Other excellent features are the phase switch and ground hum relieve. I did have to look at the online downloadable manual, because it has more examples and explenation than the included paper manual. Build quality looks and feels excelllent, colour-ation of sound is almost impossible to notice when in an dual amp setup, as the dual amp causes...

Electro Harmonix Switchblade Pro DLX Switcher

Electro Harmonix Switchblade Pro DLX Switcher

The Switchblade Pro gives you a lot of functions - from swapping your pedal order, to blending two parallel pedals, mixing three instruments together or spliting a guitar output into 2 amps... plus more! It is a mono device (a stereo version would be nice to see), but this is not an issue for me as I currently use it to run a fuzz and overdrive in parallel for a very sophisticated blend. But at the flick of a switch I can pop them in series either fuzz into overdrive or vice-versa. Nice! It's not too huge for your pedal board real estate either - and if space is really a problem you can go for one of it's baby brothers, but you sacrifice the blend controls. Quality is up there, with soft clickless switching, smooth pots and a nice positive feeling switch. It has a strong...

Lehle D.Loop SGoS

Lehle D.Loop SGoS

Based on 5 reviews

USE I use the D.Loop for my bass pedalboard, for multiple purposes. I use one loop for the pedals, to switch between clean and FX bass sound. I use the other loop to switch between my bass and my bass synth. BUILD QUALITY Sturdy, sure can take a beating. The switches are literally noiseless (only noise I heard during switching came from a faulty power supply for one of the FX pedals). The switches are sensitive, no need to step on them very strongly (they are very sturdy and can take abuse though). OPERATION You can connect two effect loops to the pedal (or, as I did, any other instrument you'd like to use on the same channel as the original input). You can use these independently and simultaneously. You also have a buffered boost function which is great for solos etc. You can set how...

Palmer Duetto

For the first time, if I could have given 6 stars I would ! I know products are supposed to do what they are advertised to do, but this just does it so well and so simply. I needed a small and simple mixer to take a Bass Ukulele and a wooden stomp box (a la LogJam or Finhol) and use both instruments in to a single input bass amp. With both instruments connected, there was no hum, no additional noise and more importantly no degradation of the tone of the instrument presented to the amp. The individual inputs can be balanced to get the desired mix level. It is small, solid and works perfectly in mixing the two inputs. This is a real quality bit of kit.

Boss ES-8 Effects Switching System

Boss ES-8 Effects Switching System

Based on 3 reviews

This product is for anyone who wants to stop pedal dance and also take advantage of switching modules on his amp at max. Pros: + can set every or neither pedal in FX loop of amp what ever you think is needed. + placing pedals in parallel mode + when changing preset two pedals can finish their job (e.g. after soloing you can leave delay and reverb pedal to nicely blend in rhythm part). + output buffer is adjustable + PC app for programing Cons: - Connectivity to PC (requires USB-MIDI interface cable)

Lehle 3@1 SGoS

Lehle 3@1 SGoS

I tried most of instrument switches on the market and 3@1 is one of the best on the market. The switcher is silent, there is no difference in sound and it's easy to use everything you need from a good instrument switcher plus there are two outputs that are switchable as well. But i think that there are two things that could be better...I would love to use both outputs at once so i could split the signal in to two amps and would love to same features in a smaller box I still use 3@1 on every gig and its on my main pedalboard and would recommend it to everyone that needs a quality instrument switcher

Orange Amp Detonator

Orange Amp Detonator

Based on 2 reviews

I have a few Orange pedals now and this matches the excellent standard of the others. The unit is bomb-proof as most of the Orange range with the obligatory stomp bar to protect the knobs (more for design than for use - but looks the bizz). I use this to have a clean effects chain and a distorted / high gain dirty chain for my pedal. It is super silent switching and no different in volume or tone between A and B path. OK you can buy an ABY much cheaper than this, but this will last donkey's years. The LED is super bright with blue, green and red. The nice feature is A&B where I have an overdrive in parallel with a distortion to get a really FAT sound. There is not really more to say, apart from these pedals are really made to last and the quality is superb. Highly recommended

Carl Martin Octa-Switch MK3

The best piece of gear i've purchased the last years. It avoids you from tapdancing on your pedalboard if you like pedals. At a certain moment i had 17 pedals on my board and especially when playing live it's not simple to handle all this. With the octaswitch, I was able to create loops with single pedals or a group of pedals and from there on create 8 combinations. It allowed me finally to go from a rythm sound to a fullblown lead sound with heavy distortion, delay, chorus etc with one push on the pedalboard. My advice, if you have a lot of pedals and you play live, get this!

Palmer Tino

Many guitarists become victim to the gear acquisition syndrome (or G.A.S.) and I would expect more than one amp and one cabinet to be a common occurrence. However there is not many products on the market to provide easy switching between amps and/or cabinets. Palmer Tino is one. It allows you to select one of two amps with a little switch. It is an active switch - needs power. There is the ground lift function which proved to be useful when a I had a particular combination of a tube amp and a digital modeller connected. Overall the switch works flawlessly and I am very satisfied with the purchase.
