What to say... awesome!

Very well made, with plenty of bass that never gets muddy, a lot of oldschool mids and clear, but never harsh treble.

If you want a vintge sound, start from this speaker and then tinker with the rest of your rig.

Lives up to its name - GOLD!

I bought this speaker as a replacement for the Jensen C10R that was in my Fender Princeton Reverb. I didn't go for the 12'' version because I like the punch and sweetness of the 10'' (it also keeps the weight within 'portable', so that's a plus as well). I was let down a bit at first because I was used to the crisp, crystalline sound of the Jensens... but soon I started to notice the smoothness and dynamic range. Wow! I use the amp with a wide range of guitars and pickups. It really brings out the character of the guitars and it complements them very nicely (the Jensens made humbucker equipped guitars sound a bit flat and the singlecoil guitars sounded wiry and thin).

A slight mid-bump and overall smoothness of the high end make it perfect for overdrive; yet at the same time, the clarity and dinamics make the clean work (especially for chords and fingerpicking) very pleasant. Bell like tones indeed! Pricey, but worth it.
