Very satisfied

The sound of rock... installed in a G212 cabinet that came with celestion v30. The cabinet with the old speaker was ok... but it gained a lot of warmth and creaminess with the greenbacks... highly recommended!

Amazing Speaker

Love the sound of it, I just find it a bit thin. But if mixed with another fatter speaker, you can have a full sound with the amazing texture of the Greenbacks

A true classic !

Not much to say except this is THE most iconic guitar speaker since the 60s. Chewy, Woody, Crunchy, an excellent sounding speaker, it is here to stay forever and ever.

Best speaker to go to for classic punk/rock

For me this is the best speaker for classic punk/rock. Only drawback is 25W of power, but get 4 of these for a total of 100W warm valve distortion.

Sparkle your guitarsound!

This is one of the best amp speakers I have ever used. I have coupled this with a 16ohm V30 in a daisychained 8 OHM setup in a 4x12 cab. There are two more speakers in the cab but they are disconnected and on in use. BUT this setup has now become my go to cab to record both V30 and GBK speaker takes for layering a perfect Mid + Side setups.

The sound of the GBK makes my single recordings sound like a double tracked stereo guitar stem.

GBK my love, until death makes us apart <3

Brilliant is the only description I can give to this speaker

Brilliant is the only description I can give to this speaker. I needed a suitable speaker for my JTM45, so this was the obvious choice although I had considered the G12H also as it had a little more power. I was never quite happy with the speakers I had, they didn?t pair up well with the JTM45, somehow, no sparkle a bit bland sounding too much volume and poor tone. Within minutes of installing the G12M in the cab I knew it was the right speaker for this amp. Hendrix in spades, sparkly cleans with a small amount of break up, in fact just the right sound for any late sixties early seventies music. You can spend a lot of time and money looking for the right speaker, I will never look back, I?m glad I bought this one but obviously will have to buy another three to compliment it.

Great, classic-sounding guitar speaker

I was looking for a speaker to complement a Celestion G12H30 (which has great highs and lows, but is a little lacking in the midrange), and a friend suggested I tried a Greenback. This is in a rig with a Egnater Tweaker head and a pair of 1x12 cabinets. Well, my friend was right - the Greenback on its own is a very traditional sounding speaker, not amazingly versatile, but very warm and middly. The combination of the two speakers gave me the perfect crisp and full-bodied guitar tone I was looking for. The only thing I would say is that as it's only a 25-watt speaker, you need to be careful which amp you use it with. With a 15 watt amp, it's ideal, but for more power handling, I'd look seriously at the Creamback 65, which sounds very similar but with a higher output.
