I have 11 of these at the moment, and I am using them to give a general wash over the stage. Their colours are strong and bright, and they compete with with my standard 1000W fresnels that I use to fill in the space. Their spread obviously depends on the distance you use them at - in my case they create a reasonably uniform wash on the stage. When used agains a cyclorama, however, you need either to be at a good distance from it or use them close to each other in order to create a uniform spread of colour. Flexible in terms of number of channels and features. I would definitely buy more of these.

Stairville LED Colour Flood 30W RGB IP65

This is a surprisingly well designed and constructed floodlight. It usually seems to rain just when you don't want it, but with this level of water protection the priority can be covering up the amps! The continuously variable colour mix is excellent and can be left set to any preference (or left changing) and there is no requirement for external control (DMX) when using the IR remote unit provided. The light output seems about equivalent to 120W of filament lamp power, but cooler and much lower energy of course. Not massive, but seriously useful and controllable light output. I like the fact that the memory keeps the previous setting for colour even when disconnected from the supply. My only criticism is that if used in dimmed mode there is some noticeable flicker, but I never use it...

Stairville Stage Flood Inst QCL 24x10W

This device is amazing. It has an enormous light output. I personally recommend to buy the version without plugs, as the built-in plug version only features 1 mt cable... which is pretty useless. Buy the no plugs version, add 4/5 mts cable and you're done! I was able to replace halogen lighting of a 10x10 mt stage hanging device on ceiling truss... and the result was amazing. The photo guys didn't complain as the light output was uniform and reliable. If you do theatre or ballet always add some white it will give a better result! Neat colours!

Splendid and trusted seller. Very very fast delivery plus packaging was professionaly processed (highly protected). Item arrived intact. Pros - Fast delivery - Neat and secured packaging - High quality items (LEDVANCE is the new OSRAM retail branch for end customers) - The lenght of the wires should suit to most requierements (about 50 cm) - Reasonable price for a such quality (27 euros + 2,5 euros for shipping to Belgium) - Astonish light output for a 50w rated floodlight plus the color rendering (4000K) is just perfect (well balanced) - Overall built quality seems to meet the famous german OSRAM standards. Now wait and see what will happen to those floodlights under severe and long exposure to elements (heavy rain, freeze, high temperature, and ambiant humidity). To sommarize i would...

Ignition Co9z LED Flood IP65 540W RGBW

Ignition Co9z LED Flood IP65 540W RGBW

After purchasing 4 units to test, we quickly noticed a lot of benefits. The unit outperforms practically any other led flood in terms of: - Output - Zoom range (few led floods have inbuilt zoom capabilities) - Zoom speed - Uniform color blending & smooth dimming - Extra features like the aura effect & pixel option - Form factor All of the above and the addition of being a waterproof fixture lead us to invest in 12 extra units. Which in the future will increase furthermore due to the wide range of applicitans the unit can be used for.

Varytec VP-1 FC DMX Video RGBWW Panel

I really like these portable LEDs. They have had an easy life so far so I cannot rate them for longevity or heavier use. They were really useful to light an urban night scene for a short film we are making and another internal scene to raise the general light in dark room. They're light and easy to mount. I purchased v-mount batteries for the two that I have and am now free to go where I want with them. The more advanced features are not at this time useful for our production but it's often good to have greater capacity or features than one needs as it leaves potential for future growth or new more demanding situations.

Stairville HL-x180 RGB WW

Stairville HL-x180 RGB WW

Based on 1 reviews

I already own the previous HL-x18 RGB WW floods. I have added some of these HL-x180 floods which are an updated version. The change from IEC in/out for power to PowerCon in/out is a good improvement. These new x180 are otherwise identical to the previous x18 product. The light output and colour rendering are the same. I had an 8 metre wide cyc wash using a mixture of two of the previous x18 and two of these x180 and there was no discernible difference in the brightness or colour - and I used a range of red, blues, yellows, pinks and greens. A good "budget" product that performs well and has decent construction. They are good value for money. It is a shame you have to buy the hanging yoke separately and that is quite costly. The included floor stands work well. Recommended.

Stairville Octagon Theater 20x6W CW/WW/A

Stairville Octagon Theater 20x6W CW/WW/A

This is the later WW/CW/A version of the unit. Despite some of the descriptions the unit has both powercon in and out sockets with DMX on 3 pin XLR. I cannot hear a fan, so presume there isn't one. There is a minor whine of the electronics, but this should not be an issue unless you are using many of these units. Light wise, it's possible to mix a good tungsten colour. Output of the CW is not as powerful to the eye as the WW/A colours. I would recommend some diffusion gel to take the glare down and soften a little to the eyes. The unit gives a wide wash of light, so should be good in close proximity. The metalwork is strong and the bracket tough - not like cheap LED pars. Minor gripe is that both units I've had I feel the packaging of the unit was slightly inadequate as the brackets...

Stairville Octagon Theater MKII CW/WW 3W

Stairville Octagon Theater MKII CW/WW 3W

The light went beyond my expectation, I needed the option to be able to mix some warmth into a white light and this allowed it to be done easily, although it's a spotlight, when you add an led filter in front, it increases the beam angle and works like a floodlight and removes from glares from the eyes. I controlled this unit from a dmx controller, it takes up 5 dmx channel, channel 1 and 2 mixes the cold and warm, channel 5 controls the intensity, 3 and 4 are different flashing or fade effects. So far the light is working great. It's currently used as stage lighting for a church. Would definitely buy more as I bought 3 this time.

Stairville RevueLED 120 COB RGB WW DMX

Stairville RevueLED 120 COB RGB WW DMX

Based on 4 reviews

I bought four of these for use in a small local hall, used for small productions. We had no real theatre lights prior to this. We bought it along with a DMX controller. The lights were well packed, so no problem with transport damage. What I liked about these, from a safety aspect, is that they were a bit lighter than expected and came with a place to attach a safety wire. Once installed it was easy to program in the DMX addresses and connect to the controller. They have 7 functions in DMX mode: Red, Green, Blue and White intensity, a master dimmer, a strobe effect and a built in 'automatic show programmes'. It also has a twist on connection for the power cable, so no fear of the chord being disconnected.
