Great for bass
I recently started using these on bass. The surface is bit rough and makes the grip on the hand a bit more loose. As a result the picking on the bass is more mellow and soft than when I use picks with polished surface.

These are the best picks I've ever had (more than 30 years playing guitars)! They produce a crispy sound, their edges seem to be the same after long use, they produce the same sound like new ones. And they are "sticky" enough to have a very good grip even when your fingers are fully wet. Excellent stuff, trully recommend everyone!
