best strings for me

the Daddario EPS170-6 are for me the best strings i can find i use them on all my basses. they have great clarity of sound so from the highest of harmonics to the earth shaking low B they all ring true and clear. the tone remains consistent throughout their lives and i know every new pack gives me the sound i love

punch in the face

you kidding me, they've got a huge punch to their sound and the feel is very natural

among other such as ddr or ernie ball , would definetly go again and again and again for daddario

restringed the bass almost 2 months ago , they really have the same tightness , didn't change colour , idk , this batch is seriously changing the game

I like the packaging , simple and useful, I'm thinking I'm n ot just paying a fancy price for fancy packaging , I'm paying for the engineering that goes in the development of strings

recommend them, really !

Daddario EPS170-6

D'Addario has been a favourite for a long time. These work very well on my Yamaha TRB JP2. I am no fan of coated strings, so these are very good and not that expensive, allowing you to change strings often without draining your account.

Wish they would sell a medium or medium/light set for 6 strings. Until then I will have to settle for the lights, which still get all the nice bright ringy goodness of the pro steel sound! The ONLY choice for heavy metal, rock or punchy music where the bass needs to cut through.

Nice.

It is a quite good set of piccolo strings for the price.

The strings plays evenly and feels good except for the G string witch is an other kind of string because it is so thin (it plays nice tough). This needs some getting use to but it is not a big set back.
