Not worse as Ernie Ball

Friends musicials suggested me not to by Ernie Ball, but Daddario. They told me, that Daddario holds better sound for longer time.

Also Daddario is a little bit cheaper as Ernie Ball.

I have not noticed big difference, but I have also not enought electric guitar experience. Now I am satisfied!

Great Strings

I have tried many different strings and these strings are by far the best. I usually play in Drop C and occasionally go lower, these keep a nice tension and are not too thick, but thick enough for me to pull off some nice wide vibrato without going out of tune.

Long lasting strings

The Daddario EXL110 strings have an excellent sound and feel very nice to play. If you wipe them every time after playing they will last a long time. Recommended.

Good All around strings

I have replaced this set on a LP replica and the tone gained definition and body.

The former strings where 09 so bending was easier but only barely.

Good choice for a not-so-high level guitar.

very good strings.

i used to think guitar strings were all the same.

Now i use for my Tele fender strings, for more bite and stil good lows. But for my vintage Strat i need Daddario, thight lows and even overall sound. (those are 009 sets)

This 010 set i use for my P90 and humbucker guitars. They give a consistent, even sound. The 010 set plays easy enough, and have more definition in tone.

blues to metal ;)

They might be more expensive as budget sets, but your guitar is designed foor good strings.

It is better to buy a set of three packages, because new strings sound better.

With (too) old strings you don't sound jazzy, but out of tune and mushy.

I happend once or twice the last 3 years the thick E string was wrong, wouldn't tune nice. But that also could have been wrong setting up or the weather or what, so the quality is good (While ALL tested cheap budget sets always sound out of tune/wrong to me)

Nice strings

The Daddario EXL Series Are very nice. For its Price they are a Perfect alternative to the Elixir Strings. The sound is brilliant and Never had Problems with Rost. I Play the Strings Since a half Year on my fender stratocaster.

Good strings for a low Price!

Pure Sound!

The D'Addario EXL110 Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Strings (Regular Light Gauge) are my favorite electric guitar strings for my Fender Stratocaster guitars (okay, in company with the EXLW strings from D'Addario ;-)). I would recommend these strings for any guitar player who wants a brilliant, sparkling, bright tone!! I love them! Tip: If you have tuning problems with your 3rd string of your guitar - try the EXLW strings (nickel wound G string!).

Great Tone!

The D'addario EXL 100 electric guitar strings are made in the U.S.A.! These strings are round wound with nickelplated steel. What you get is a bright and rich tone! I prefer them on my Fender Stratocaster guitars but they also sound nice on a Gibson Les Paul or SG! I would recommend them!!

Standard strings

These are my all-time favorite strings. They feature very good quality as well as a nice and balanced sound. Tuning these is perfect as well. Definite recommendation for that price.

Ok, but not my favourite sound....

Daddario is what everybody is talking about. I mean they are okay, but I found other strings which sound more beautiful and feel more natural. I am not an Ernie Ball or GHS Fan. I can recommend Fender and Rotosound.

Great value, long lasting strings

I have been using this brand of strings for about 10 years, maybellene longer.

I love the tone of the ten gauge strings.

I always use these DAddario EXL strings for recording, gigging, practice, etc.

They sound great on my Fenders and Les Pauls. They are pretty strong and do not break easily. The feeling is smoother than the Ernie Balls, and they are not so susceptible for sweat and rust.

The coloured ball ends make it easy to find the right string, sometimes for me is it not easy to see. which one is the high e, or the b string.

And by buying them in 3 or 10 packs you can save money: Great Value for your hard earnd money.

The Best for my Guitar

I use them on my Gretsch Pro Jet, Les Paul Studio and Hagstrom Super Swede. Sound and Playability of this long- lasting Strings is great. And I never had never problems with loosing Ballend like some other Brands.

Standard string for me!

I have been using these strings for about the last two years on my Epiphone LP Special and they have never let me down! Some people complain about the longevity of these strings, but if you wipe them down after every rehearsal and gig they last a bit (I usually change strings before every gig anyway). Value and quality, nothing more and nothing less...buy them:-)

Cheers

Probably the best value strings.

I got these a while back just to test them out. They actually turned out to be great guitar strings, as good as any ernie ball, dunlop, etc. They hold your tone for quite a while, and the durability is spot on. And the best thing about them, is that they're really cheap! you could get a whole bunch of them without going bankrupt, and without losing anything in quality. they're great, try'em out.

Sets the bar high for strings

What can I say. These are the strings I 'always' buy. Very good price, very good product! Seem to last forever. Pretty consistent across packets. Breaking strings is more down to the guitar than strings, but these do not come with any dead spots or corroded patches (I have used some dunlops that have) - this is probably down to the plastic seal. Great strings!

Guitarists standard choice.

I've been using these D'addario strings for the past 15 years years and they perform as expected. One of their best features is that they are available pretty much everywhere and therefore are easi to obtain if needed.

Fine

Great strings - last a long time, but it would be helpful if two 009s were included. I buy single replacements but they don't seem to last as long. Good price on the three packs.

Good value

These were on offer at the time and as I had bought a second hand guitar I knew I would need new strings. I put them on the guitar and it sounded like new. I'm not one of those who change strings every month and these are still on my guitar a couple of months later and are still performing well.

Daddario Guitar Strings

I usually use different strings but decided to try these after hearing good things about them. I must say that I was not totally impressed with these strings and have since gone back to my usual choice, but it is worth bearing in mind that this is only personal preference. They felt comfortable to play and were durable, but their overall sound didn't suit my tastes.
