Amazing strings!
I have a bass with theses strings for months and they still sound killer. My favourites for sure.
Good sound, to short of a lifespan...
The sound is good right away in my opinion, after a few hours the strings will loose the "brand-new-string-brilliance" which is to be expected.
The problem for me is that they only last for about 4-6 weeks, I am a music student and play 3+ hours a day but I think the should last a bit longer.
They become doll and dead sounding, I play a 5 string with high C so i need the clarity, not the string for me.
Overall though, great sound! balanced sound with good punch and wormth, responds well to different playing styles/techniques.
Good bass strings
Put on as replacement on Squier P-Bass , so much improvement in one go. Egal in tone, feel. Easy to change, stay in tune. Recommendable
Honest & neutral
Since having collected a few vintage basses, I havent found a string which lets the sound of the bass shine through as well as these. They are not too bright at the start, even after months when they are not new or bright anymore, they still sound good. Other strings sound very bad when they go dead! Easy on the fingers & frets too. Couldnt say one bad word about them.
Dont think ive ever! broken one either, i used to break rotosound ALL the time
Good strings
I don't have experience with many strings but my Sire P7 is equipped with these and the guitar just sings. I love the sound. However this is experience is short lived. These strings can change sound in a month or two and I would consider options with some kind of coating.
The best as always
Great product with nice sound a good construction quality, you can't go wrong with daddario!
value for money
Nice all around stings for any style of music. Great tone but don't last as long as others. One to two month depending on how often you playing.
Love D'addario
These are great bass strings. Clear, bunchy but still keep the bass. the price is also not bad. I use them on my Sire Marcus Miller M7, with which they came in the first place.
Great strings
Good strings at a good price. My roundwound of choice on Jazz and PJ basses with Jazz necks.
Used them practly on all my basses troughout the years, and they have the best of all worlds. Probably the most balanced strings out there.
