Pyramid Autoharp String Set 36
Based on 2 reviews
I needed several new strings for my autoharp and it seemed sensible in terms of price to buy a complete set of strings instead of part sets of twelve. I recommend removing the bars before taking off the old strings and replacing them.Work slowly and patiently in order not to ruin replacement strings by cutting them too short. You will need to retune three or four times to allow any make of new strings to bed in.
Pyramid Autoharp String Set 36Ball End
Based on 1 reviews
So, this is the first full set of Autoharp strings I've purchased (and the first time I've fully restrung an autoharp as a result). They seem very well made and wrapped, a great resonance under tension, tune easily with the right tools and give a lovely bright sound. Great to have the autoharp back with a full string set to go at, and I'd certainly recommend these to anyone looking for a set!
Aquila Guilele/Guitalele Red Series

immediately mounted on my guitalele yamaha gl1, replacing the stock strings. I left them settling for 24h and the sound changed drastically. it keeps the tuning better and can also be tuned in A key. The price is slightly above average but i just have to wait and see their resistance and duration on the instrument.
Pyramid Sitar Strings 677/7

These have become the standard purchase for my sitar. You get the high quality of the pyramid strings without the extra cost of buying the sympathetic strings everytime you need a new baaj (melody string). I found the tonal quality of these strings to be great - I only wish that I could get a slightly thicker baaj - as I prefer heavier gauges. I can't find any other place for silver-plated steel, so I make do with what there is. However, it is likely that you will consider this a blessing, especially for people new to sitar - as the ease of playing is increased with these strings. (note: I can only say this is true for my sitar, but I get the feeling others have the same experience) I switched to pyramid strings when I got my new sitar. I had trouble with the nickel/silver frets getting...
Elixir Resonator Strings

These strings brought my old Johnson back to life! They strengthened and brightened the sound, while keeping it balanced. They have lasted longer than expected with heavy play, and I can think of nothing that was problematic about them. I highly recommend them.
Aquila Guilele/Guitalele Set High E

Very high Pitched..but that's the name of the game here. I rather have the red series because of the guitar range and the resonation and color of the instrument seems more interesting an octave lower: deeper, louder, more colorful. Anyways, I am happy I tried them, it is a good product.
