Great but won’t work for what I want

Which admittedly is very obscure but. I have a 7 string acoustic guitar with a magnetic pickup in the neck (a real one) I was told by a few people these would act the same as nickel as far as magnetic….ness but unfortunately no. So they sound good acoustically I’ll give em that but mag wise. High b and e are way louder and ofcoarse the 64 nickel low b is booming too. I’m just glad I don’t buy 10 packs. Only 2. Damn Hey this might help someone right?

Great strings

I use these on an all solid mahogany concert size cutaway, that needed help finding its voice.

They sparkle. I've been using them for about 18 months on that guitar.

Interesting strings

I didn't expect much from these strings, thought it was a just gimmick, but I was pleasantly surprised.

I can't say much about the feel, as to me, they feel like any other acoustic strings. Offering slightly higher tension, than brass and phosphor bronze, which could be useful if you are detuning.

As far as the sound, they are a bit more punchy, could be due to the little bit extra tension. They aren't as bright as brass strings and aren't as warm as phosphor bronze, they are somewhere in between, leaning more towards brass.

If you are looking for something different I would deffinetly recommend these.

I love these strings

The moment you put these strings on something sounds differently. I simply love the sound of these strings. They feel well and met my expectations. To my surprise they do hold their sound very long and when I want to change them I always keep them on a little longer, yes even after a couple of months. I am a finger picker and I love the balance certainly when playing open chords. Give them at least a try would be my advice. You will hear the wood of the guitar immediately.

Beautiful strings

I love these strings, they well exceeded my expectations , very nice to feel and they hold their tone so long I was actually reluctant to change my strings after several months of playing everyday. I like to play plugged in and just can't fault these strings I love their tone the low ends for 11,s crystal clear , well worth a try guys and gals if you favour a grungy feel
