Super Nice

Just that...

I find in them anything I need, tone and definition-wise, and I just couldn't be happier with their quality!!!

I like to play around with different tunings, and thet offer a wide range of gauges. Also, the fact that a huge range of singles of any gauge are available to customize sets, is brilliant!!!

From time to time I try other brands, and many are OK, but is just I have found my feel and tone with D'Addario, and I'm always going back to using them.

It's a matter of taste, as always when sound is involved.

For me they're PERFECT, I love them!!!

Excellent for a C (when dropping with a balanced tension set)

I switched to balanced tension string sets from D'Addario the greater part of a year ago.

As I like the premise, I wanted to expand it to my dedicated drop-C guitar model. As there is no set for this yet, I looked up the tensions for my scale length online and found that the 056 is what I need to swap into an 11-50BT set to get comparable string tension.

As with all D'addario, they sound great and last, seemingly, forever. Daily playing will get this string comfortably to the end of the month, possibly a bit further if you aren't a sweaty player.

Of course gigs are a different story, but you know this.

If I had to give a negative, I guess it would be the fact that I have to buy this string seperately to make my Dropped tuned guitar balanced, but in honesty that surely applies to most strings/sets

Great, tight seventh string

I use this string as the seventh string on my 25.5" Ibanez and it does the job well for playing the B note - maintaining thightness and yet being balanced with the 9-46 set, the string is perfect for the purpose besides taking it's time to adjust once it's put on new.

good tension - great for short scale guitars

The best thing about this string is that exists?I needed big gauge strings to use with a short scale (19") guitar in standard tuning. There aren?t many options. I bought this and a 059. This has lower tension than the 059, but doent's feel too thick

The sounds is ok?it?s a string?.

Nice product
