Great for C tuning

The band I play in is playing in C or in some songs Drop A#. The E string of 060 does now sound floppy even when dropped to A#.

And G string does not dull.

My favourite strings

After having used Ernie Ball Slinkies for 20 years, I have discovered the NYXL range last year and I don't think I'm going back. They stay in tune almost straight out of the pack, and seem to sound fresh longer. They feel nice and snappy, maybe a bit less tension that other strings of the same gauge but at the same time there is something about the responsiveness. It's very hard to put it into words as it is such a subjective experience :) But to me they feel comfortable and snappy and alive. Also it seems like the output is slightly higher.

A bit pricier but given how they seem to last longer (or at least the degradation is more gradual) and with the satisfaction I get out of them, it's well worth it.

Great durability and feel

These strings feel great and are a good improvement compared to the XL line. The extra cash is worth it.

Love the tonality of these strings

I've been using these strings in my Les Paul in drop B tuning (despite being optimized for C standard) and I must say they hold the tuning pretty well. They are very strong and last a lot more than any other set of strings I've tried without losing the great tonality they have.

First time using NYXL's

Great strings, been using them every day for around a week now and they still feel like new. most strings start to darken both visually and audibly after this amount of time so was pleasantly surprised.

Sound-wise, other than staying brighter for longer, I don't think there's a huge difference in sound.

overall 4 stars, rather than five as they're pretty much twice the price of a regular pack of strings, but not necessarily twice as good. Great strings, but I think if you change them regularly anyway, you wouldn't really gain much for the extra £££'s you spend.

Durable and with amazing quality!

Amazing strings, you can feel the quality when you start playing after you change strings in your guitar. I've had mines for about 2 weeks on my guitar and they are still brand new. You have to take care of them, naturally, and clean them daily, however the quality of the product is also relevant here. Very satisfied and would recomend to every guitarist.
