Daddario PW-CT-12 Micro Headstock Tuner

The D'Addario PW-CT-12 Micro Headstock Tuner is a compact and convenient tuner that provides accurate and quick tuning of your guitar right on the fingerboard. This tuner is the perfect solution for guitarists of all levels who value accuracy and convenience in the process of tuning their instrument. One of the key advantages of the PW-CT-12 is its miniature size and light weight. This makes it easy and convenient to attach the tuner to the guitar fingerboard without being overweight or bulky. Thanks to its compact design, it remains unobtrusive while playing and doesn't interfere with your ability to focus on the music. In addition, the D'Addario PW-CT-12 offers high tuning accuracy thanks to its sensitive and fast response. It features a bright display that shows the current note and its deviation, making tuning quick and easy. With its high accuracy, this tuner helps guitarists achieve perfect tuning every time.

Great for 8 strings

Had problems with pedal tuners to catch the eight string on my guitar. This works great for it. Also tried for other instruments, even tuning a piano.

Slim, beautiful, functional

I am very satisfied with these tuners, in all aspects. This specific mounting method can not hold onto headstock of mu concert ukuleles but it does work with Harley benton tenor.

My only peeve is that there is no mounting base (clip or screw-in) to buy without tuner. If there were any, I would have a number of these mounts on my ukes and basses and probably a third NS Micro tuner.

Well built, overall fine

The construction is good and the design is ingenious – taking up really the least amount of space, tucked behind your headstock. It now permanently lives on my telecaster and unlike the Boss TU-02, it doesn't even fall off or is in the way when I put my guitar in its gigbag.

One area where the Boss TU-02 is still superior in my opinion is its accuracy to track notes. The Daddario PW-CT-12 is more than fine, but it tends to jump between notes here and there, which can be mildly annoying. Overall, however, it's accurate and I trust it.

ADEQUATE…….JUST.

Ok I suppose, but somewhat fiddly, and it didn’t always pick up the notes on some of my many instruments. The display in daylight is not bright enough.

Just about ok for the money, but I would not be rushing to buy another. .

Put if on my guitar and haven't removed it since

been using it for 6 months. Never had to charge or recharge it. I don't think its the best tuner out there if you want to compare it with expensive high end tuners but for its price you can't go wrong with this one. It'll do the job.

Small, almost invisible

This is my first clip tuner.

It does it's job nicely (for an amateur like me) and it's difficult to notice when attached to the headstock.

However, the joint between the plastic clip and the tuner itself is a bit weak and it has fallen off several times just by slightly hitting an object with the guitar headstock.

Long battery life... not changed in more than a year.
