Great and durable strings, the tension is perfect and the tone and volume extremely good.
Practical string choice for dobro players.
Having played the dobro for many years I have tried many options in terms of strings. All of Daddario's offerings are a solid choice but this new coated set gives the most value I find. With the standard uncoated set it would only take one session for that dead string sound to appear and the high strings would get gritty.
These XT dobro strings (the 16-56 set is meant for gbdgbd lap style bluegrass dobro by the way) have become my go to. Well worth a try if you play dobro.
