Danelectro 56 Vintage Baritone Black
Baritone Electric Guitar

Impressive ton
Looks amazing, sounds great, but not in a modern rock situation. It's a must in the studio!
Cheap build that sounds great
First of I will note that this guitar arrived at my door with the classic Danelectro head stock, not as pictured here. For me this guitar is pretty much everything I could want from a baritone guitar. It's very lightweight, it's easy to play for a baritone, and it sounds amazing - both clean and with distortion, live and in recording. You may find that the string height/action needs adjustment.
The star I'm taking of is purely for aesthetic reasons. The volume and tone knobs feel cheap, the f hole cut is rough, and the pick guard is clear thin plastic. I would say that up close this guitar doesn't look amazing, but it certainly does from a distance! This only applies to the body however, the neck and head stock is real solid, and I have no complaints about the tuning keys.
In conclusion this guitar is superb when it comes to what really matters: sound and playability. I would definitely recommend it if you're curious about baritone guitars.
