Danelectro 59 Divine Fresh Cream

not worth the money but I still love it.
out of the box it played awful, the action was way too high the neck had too much relief but for me that was an easy fix. we all know dano's are made from cheap wood and this is no exception with it's plywood sides and centre block haha so in theory it's not worth the money, it's not a perfect guitar either with tiny paint splatters in the binding and off centre fret dots. but with all that said I absolutely love how this guitar plays (with my setup super low action) and sounds and how light and thin it is it's my kind of guitar, i also love the cool knobs which is one of the reasons I wanted it, they are just damn cool man! one of the best things about it are the tuners wow they are nice, this guitar even though it's new looks and feels vintage to me not that it's aged at all. I adore it with all it's quirks!
Great look and tone for the price
I bought two guitars at once to compare at home. The Danelectro '59 Divine arrived first and I knew from the start I would keep it and not the other. It's lightweight but not too light. The neck is easy to play and the pickups give the sound I am looking for... rich and never muddy. The only drawback are the tone and volume knobs. The colors are nice but they are simple plastic and seem a little cheap. I will probably upgrade them. All-in-all I am really happy with it and I've received a lot of compliments on its looks and sound! It sounds great at home and hopefully also on stage!
