This has to be the best most usable darkglass pedal ever made, I dont have words!

Full of low end

The absolute best preservation of low end in a distortion pedal. 10/10, would recommend to every bassist looking for a solid distortion pedal.

Versatile

Sounds great when plugged directly into DI or interface, or into front of an amp.. responsive EQ

Low gain tones are surprisingly good. The character of distortion is very much modern metal, if you prefer a vintage or more fuzzed out sound you might want to look elsewhere. This works great both on stage and in studio though

My Bass sounds like a BEAST!

X7 shape my sound drasticly! I use it together with darkglass alpha-omicron and MXR M87 compressor and with this jewel here my bass guitar sounds like a BEAST!

What can i say, Darkglass is amazing, the quality, all of it. This Distortion reminds me a little more of a guitar distortion, which is very cool with its clean signal blending HPF, LPF and EQ functions you can get a wicked modern bass+distortion out of it. i do recommend a decimate to tame the noise.
