Sounds good

It sounds good on any part. The only problem would be that it can’t be fixed very well on the bell and sometimes it falls out of the trumpet.

Excellent noise reduction

Excellent noise reduction. Intonation wise, very usable for practicing if required

Good product but difficult to control the sound

The attenuation is extremely good, but the sound is not optimal and it is really offering a lot of resistance, so it is too tiring for long training session.

Big noise reduction!

I bought this for trumpet practice at home and I must say that it really gives you a good noise reduction.

Of course, as the trumpet hole is covered with this mute, playing requires much more breathing effort. But for those who are beggining like me, I believe that is good because we end up gaining more breath strengt and control.

I can finally practice at home

Reduces the volume a lot! Sounds very accurate! I can finally practice without annoying my neighbors. There's some back pressure but even I can easily handle it and I am a complete beginner (both in trumpet and wind instruments in general). Price is very reasonable

Great practice mute

This mute does the job perfectly. Gets the sound level down with no significant alteration in pitch. A little back pressure is felt which is normal for any mute as a matter of fact. Overall good performance.

I'm very happy with it!

I'm a complete beginner and needed to pick up a basic mute. Did plenty of research and settled on this one; personally I'm really happy with it and my teacher also thinks it's pretty good. I use this probably twice a week when I need to be quiet and it works well. Obviously it's tougher to play with a mute and it's harder to keep practicing for a long time but that's to be expected with a mute anyway. I feel like it gives a good workout! Anyway it's nice and quiet, sound wise I'm happy with it and would recommend it.
