This is quite a simple little rack piece. Just pay attention to the direction of things when you asseble it. It's easy, but I got one rail wrong so had to start over haha. 5 stars on features.. well, it doesn't have much, but what it has works like a charm. Nice blue leds too when it lights upp. Very Star Trek and that's always a good thing. Extra bonus is that it can stand very stabile by itself on a table top with modules in it. So, it can be used on desktop too even if it may not be intended to.

This case is just well designed and solidly built. It feels robust yet lightweight, the power supply is solid with a lot of capacity for modules. Those flip out legs too are a really nice feature of the case and feel solid. The only downside, when you're planning your rack be aware that the bottom row has the main board for the power so deeper modules wont fit. I found this out when placing the final module in (an ES-8) and realising it wasn't deep enough. It fits in to the top row with no problems at all though. Something to consider when planning your rack. Currently planning to expand my rack out with another one of these when stock and budget align.

I bought this case to replace a cheaper, DIY solution with something more robust. For the price, this is a ton of HP and an excellent, quiet power supply. The case feels nice and sturdy, and while I doubt I could affordably throw it on a plane, it'll definitely survive many a journey by car. Some items worth considering: * If you're buying this for use in the US, you'll need to source your own power cable. Get a 90 degree angled one - the straight ones don't allow for the case to sit flat against a wall or desk. * The power guards in the middle greatly reduce clearance. This is hardly a deal breaker, as my skiff-friendly modules fit perfectly with room to breathe, but it may impact your placement considerations. * The threaded strips are in two pieces. This can cause some frustration...

Feels strong but not too heavy. Lid is not actually protecting against the dust and moisture. Thats bitty because it limits the case to be used only in the studio. Edit: after adding a gigbag for additional protection I'm not concerned anymore with the lid not closing tightly enough. This makes it a perfect mobile skiff that can take a lot of punishment and travels well in public transport, on airplane or in a bike basket, if you like. Unfortunately Roland is not offering suitable bag so I'm using Moog theremini gigbag that is good enough with some extra space for power and cables.

Erica Synths Eurorack Skiff Case PSU

This skiff is basic but very decent build. The power switch on the back is very solid just like the power socket. The power supply offers enough power to easily fill up the 2 rows with modules. The wooden side panels are attached with screws and can easily be removed or replaced with differed side panel. This allows you to add panels that place the skiff in a standing position or pannels that can hold a second skiff. This makes it ideal for expanding your setup (by adding a second skiff) without having to buy a whole new case. I would recommend this product especially for starters who plan to grow there modular system.

I needed a larger case to rule them all ;) I started small but got carried away too quickly and I grew tired of having 3 different cases and some 19" rack solutions. The case does the job, it works like a charm. Power supply quality is top notch and we know how important this is after all. The rails are quite long so they can bend a bit with the weight of the modules. Please note that on the positive side, the rails are split into smaller portions so it is possible to adpat in smaller blocks. But I also have one rail where holes alignements are a bit dodgy and I lose a couple of HP overall. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. It is not cheap. But I couldn't find any equivalent to compare to. The position of the modules is great.

My entire modular rig is built around these cases. I have 11 of them. They are sturdy and dependable. The power supplies are rock solid. Doepfer offer fantastic support. The only thing I would have said that was a 'Con' was that the power rails weren't idiot proof in the early cases (it was possible to plug the modules in incorrectly as they were just naked pins) However, the last 2 I purchased have fixed this, with connectors now being sheathed in the common protective shell to stop you frying your modules. Ace. Great case, now even better.

Intellijel Designs Palette 62 4U Stealth

The Palette is very well structured out and you get a lot bang for buck, especially because of the buffered mults and the midi audio-jack adapters you can connect with inttelijel 1U modules that are not expensive to add on, plus you dont use the important space for your main-modules. Besides of that the Stealth looks and feels very nice, there is a video online showing you how to integrate new modules. check it out! I use this as a mother32/DAFM combo expansion, so the included buffered mults are very welcome here if you want to add another OSC. Dont forget, its still a musical instrument. So it has to give you the "feel" in your hands. And this box definitly makes you smile. recommendation!

Case looks great and the idea is super. The connection design is quite good but something not advertised is that you will be connecting and disconnecting the metal stand often if you want to change to some of the configurations - including the reclined desk setup that requires you to actually flip the case and remount all of your modules upside down..so pretty much not doable if you want to use the other standing configs. More annoying is the power module that takes up an odd 5HP, the power module connection cable takes up a lot of space next to the module so only very shallow modules can be mounted to the right of it, moving the power module to another part of the case or row is impossible without different cables (not supplied) and the metal stand connectors have large metal nuts inside...

Doepfer A-100P9 Case PSU3

Purchased this case because my Moog 60hp skiff was quickly becoming too small for everything I wanted to get. Great, solidly built case with lots of space. Supplies clean power and plugs in directly to the wall socket so you don't need to carry around a bulky adapter when you're performing. The downside of an internal power supply is that it adds to the weight of the case, but I don't mind that at all. It feels like a premium case and the rails are perfectly built. One downside is you can't place this case at an angle because the power cable plugs in from the back and sticks out a little bit. It would be nice if it was placed higher up, or somewhere on the side. All in all, I'm extremely happy with this purchase and recommend this case to anyone looking to build a road worthy,...
