Great case for the price

This is not a fancy case in any way, just a very basic case made of blank wood.

But that said, it does absolutely everything it’s supposed to do and has always worked without any problems.

So in the end it’s a great case for the price.

Good case with enough power

I've had it for quite some time now, never a problem and I kind of dig the raw looks on it.

Great quality

This is really good considering the price of other cases. I was going to paint it, but on receiving it I actually really like the plain wood.

Good but a little small

Quality is good, power supply is working fine. The aesthetics are appealing because of the raw plywood. It has a clean, utilitarian feel.

Cons - as a main module case it's too small. I was foolish enough to dip my toe into the modular world :) I think it might be best as an add-on case for extra modules rather than a main one.

Great case with power supply

The case is solid and has a good power supply with on/off switch.

The wood is nice and of course I painted it, to keep it in great shape.

The best value with no compromise

The build quality is excellent and the price is great. It's designed to be painted so you can let your creativity flow, I used some teak varnish and some wood polish, now it looks like a vintage case from the 60's but you can easily paint it black or leave it as it is.

My only complaint is that the power comes from outside the right side of the unit, so you can't have multiple next to each others, I wish the power would come out from behind so you can stack them up/down/left/right

Solid

Holds 1 row of modules which you'll soon find out is not all that much (but enough if you keep your GAS under control).

Power supply is solid.

So is the build. It looks a bit boring, of course, but it does what it needs to do.

Inexpensive but doesn't have to look it

Lovely little 3u case. It's a dense plywood frame nicely finished. Application of a few coats of Danish Oil makes it look lovely.

Case Closed

Solid, sturdy and begging for a bit of cosmetic customisation. MI Volts gets the 5V up as well- love it!

Doepfer LC3

Well built and certainly affordable eurocase made with german precision. The only problem with euroracks in general is that you never have enough rack space for all those modules you never thought of (but we all know that you need them). Until Doepfers LC-line became available wooden cases was pretty expensive and now - with LCB, LC3, 6, 9 you get raw plywood and finally a good amount of power. Paint or oil it yourself! I'd prefer the dc jack on the backside, instead of the left side, and maybe Doepfer will change that in the future? All in all - two thumbs up!
