Doepfer quality.

A quality mixer by the inventor of the eurorack format. Does what it says on the label. What more can you say. Every eurorack setup should have one in my opinion. I'm using this together with 2 Doepfer A-138n mixers and I'm very happy with it.

Great little stereo mixer

Great little mixer that does exactly what it's supposed to. Doesn't take too much room and allows up to 4 audio signals to be mixed in stereo. Bang for the buck, no doubt!

One little thing this module would benefit from would be a central stabilizer on the panning knobs. Still, it's easy to fix them to central position anyway.

Solid build, reliable performance

Not much to complain about with Doepfer modules. This one is extremely reliable, solid build and is a key part in most of my patches.

Useful mixer

The layout is very clear. No frills. Just a simple stereo mixer with panning on all four channels. As far as I know, there is no equivalent at this price range. If you like working in stereo, you'd like this little, very reasonably priced mixer. It works nice with complex oscillators by allowing you to spread the various outputs from these over the stereo sound field.

Stereo mixer

Basic stereo mixer but it is excellent quality. The knobs move very smoothly and consistently. The jacks are tight. Sound through it seems perfectly neutral. Good price.

A basically neutral mixer

Mixes audio or CV well enough - can add a small amount of gain but in general it sounds a bit softer to my ears than the direct signals do. Quite flexible for a simple module.

Pros:

- Good price, small size without feeling at all cramped.

- stereo which also means you can set up some more complicated performance routing with it if you're running a mono rig.

- mixes both CV and audio and you can use one side for each if you like or put some audio signal into the CV channel.

- has a bit of gain to spare beyond just mixing at unity

- Pots feel good and have a musical taper.

Cons:

- I feel like I can 'hear' it being in the path and I'm not usually fussy about this (I'm a pro studio engineer going back to the tape and console days and never hesitate to run things through console busses or submixes since I'm used to them being more or less invisible which I don't feel this is... I also use the two channel mixer in my Mother32 and a Malekko unity mixer those feel essentially invisible to me)

Useful mixer module

very useful module for mixing, panning, dry/wet send and feedback loops.

the only cons are, that the "center" position of the L/R knob is not in the same spot for each channel, the same is true for the range of level knobs, and there is quite a jump around the "1" value from nothing to quite a lot.

Does what it says

Typical Doepfer quality: understated, reasonably priced, well designed and built and performs as expected.
