Doepfer Dark Link

This box saved me some serious time in the studio

Great MIDI to CV box for modular setup I use.

It functions well and no trouble encountered.

It is one of better solution I tried so far and actually quite cost effective.

Highly recommended.

simple but quality machine

I wanted to send midi notes to my moog dfam.

The two best and cheapest options were doepfer dark link and arturia keystep. Choosed the doepfer because of its size, its very compact. Works perfect, build quality is great and the finish is quite lovely, great design from doepfer. The glide is a nice bonus too. No cons.

Dark Link

I use the Dark Link to send MIDI to CV signal to my oscillator. It works great for this.

It would have even been greater tho if I could make an aggregated MIDI-device to use it with Abletons CV-tools, but it doesn't show between the MIDI-devices recognized by my IMAC.

Very useful and good value

I use the Dark Link as a MIDI interface, via USB, from my Mac using the gate and CV1 outputs to control an SH-101. It worked great, straight out of the box. The glide knob works nicely too. The unit is well built in a metal case, the only thing missing is an on/off switch, but I can live with that.
