Well built with easy to use securing nut. For 48 - 51mm tube (closes down to about 45mm) - width 30mm. Bottom fixing is for M12 bolt, not M10 like others.

The Doughty T20105 Hook Clamp Extra Long has a solid build. There are no screws, washers or wing nuts that attaches the fixture. You need to get these elsewhere. The hanging of the Hook Clamp is easy, and the wing bolt that tightens to the truss is easy to handle without any tools. It bends lightly to the back (to the side where the wing bolt is) if the load is decently heavy ~7kg. Reliable Hook Clamp.

We have 8 of these used for clamping to handrails on our gallery. They cope with thinner than standard bars and clamp to lamps securely above the bar without the risk of damaging the paintwork as with other "universal" clamps. The only negative is that the knob for locking the spigot attached to the lamp has is a spacer which can drop out if you are careless. Not cheap, but excellent for the task.

Excellent construction but it is heavy and a bit unwealdy to adjust. Once a boom arm is attached it is very solid and reliable.

A good clamp as you would expect from this manufacturer. Quality is good and they feel solid. Thumb screw is nice and large which makes tightening easy. I good choice if you require this type of clamp.
