Used this capsule for a small production on a SKM100 G4. The capsule is very easy to install, very plug and play. You just screw it on to the handheld transmitter and you're up and running. The sound is good and clear. This was used in a small venue and is more susceptible to feedback than a 845 capsule. But it's a good overall capsule that is perfect for a beginner or someone with a small budget

SE Electronics V7 MC2 Black

The wired V7 happens to be one of my favorite live vocal mics, so getting a wireless version was a no-brainer. SE Electronics are always at the top of their game when it comes to build quality, and paired with Sennheiser's SKM-S transmitter base + EW-D receiver, the mic capsule sounds superb.

I heard a lot of good things about this capsule, and after wondering if I should invest, I finally took the plunge and I am very happy that I did. It is coupled to my Sennheiser SKM 5000 transmitter, replacing my old Sennheiser capsule. It is much heavier than the Sennheiser capsule, but the whole transmitter assembly now balances better in the hand. This capsule is very well made and is robust, with a finish that matches the transmitter well. It has a different pop filter design, and it is less susceptible to pops. The sound from vocals is rich and smooth, and instantly takes the quality of sound to the next level. For recording a digital piano, it is equally capable. I'm very happy with it.

I have a wireless SM58 for few years now and the cartridge seemed to have let me down... Sound was cutting, it wasn't reliable anymore. This spare cartridge is perfect and my mike sounds like it is a brand new... The sound even seems brighter & more powerful than the original. Perfect fit !

Never thought I could hear myself on stage like I'm in the studio. It's great! In comparison with common Shure Beta 58A, WL1 sounds fat and punchy in a good way. Also I play in a rock band where cymbals are always bleeding into vocals but this capsule makes those annoying frequencies softer, just like that. Great quality, sounds great, I've been touring with this capsule all summer long and it's one of the best purchases.

This is a good capsule for speech and vocals. It is perhaps not the most sensitive but hence works great in systems where feedback might be an issue. For example in a hall where the speakers are near the stage area due to space constraints, these capsules work great. The fidelity on Shures and Senheisers is a bit better but these are still good for the money.

Sound is outstanding, highs are sweet and detailed, mediums are bit forward, just to cut through, and basses are deep without being boomy. Handling noise is low, pop filtering is not that efficient, foam is too thin, but can be easily changed. I compared to the classic SM58 and BETA58 and this SE V7 is in my opinion better and btw cheaper.. Works fine with Shure SLX-D transmitter, but better use a high pass filter to remove low bass rumble and pop noises.

I'm very impressed with the D:Facto. This capsule provides incredibly clear, crisp, rich sound, and is well worth the investment. The hard-shell transport box looks great too, and provides good protection. Both the capsule and the adapter are solid and are very high quality, but because of this build quality, they are also quite heavy. I use the D:Facto capsule with an SKM 5200-II transmitter as a hand-held microphone, and the entire assembly (with batteries) is just over 400 g, a point to note if you are used to something lighter (for comparison, the Sennheiser ME 5005 with an SKM 5000 transmitter is around 250 g). The SE5 adapter fits perfectly with the transmitter body, and both have the same satin black finish (for the black option), giving the assembly of the capsule, adapter, and...
