Don’t buy it

The third string broke and stretched after 10 minutes of playing in drop c tuning. Maybe I got a defective product, but I had to change the whole set. I’m absolutely not satisfied with the quality, this is just wasted money.

Excellent strings for low tuning

They are bright and tight at C-Drop in a 4string bass. Perfect for fast playing with aggressive drive.

Disappointed

First acoustic impression was that of a piano being stringed - which is quite satisfying. Then trying them out on a passive humbucked J bass through Orange amp made them sound too muddy, lacking tonal clarity and stable drive/sustain. Maybe I had an unlucky set that wore out too quickly,...or maybe it just isn't the type of strings I need.

Excellent quality

As an original punk, my base guitar is and has to be extremely cheap and as a result, it was always difficult to maintain a stable tuning, especially on the E-snare, which was even worse when playing drop D. With these strongs, however, not only the sound is crisp and clear, but also extremely stable. Punk or not, it is always annoying when the deepest sounds are slightly off tune. With these strings, this is no longer the case.I simply love em.
