Good strings, but overpriced

OK strings, but overpriced, in my opinion. I prefer the Dean Markley Blue Steel, or even the d'Addario ProSteel.

Really the best strings for me.

Bright sounding tone. great for recording

Awesome tone, used a set of these for recording some bass. I highly recommend these - bright sounding response which helps finger style playing cut through the rest of the instruments.

Would definitely buy these again for recording sessions.

Loving these.

Warwick RB5 passive.

Markbass LMIII / Warwick BC40

2x10 custom built oversize Aldred Amps cab.

Second set of DRs I've used - same as the first, but heavier gauge. They fit just right. Had them on about 4 months now, have been playing regularly but only a couple of gigs.

Took a few days to get the neck right for the tension of the strings, but now I've got sizzle, clarity, boldness - though not so much that I can't EQ the high end out for a less present sound.

Now, I'm not great when it comes to Slap. I'm learning, but still can't articulate in the same way other good players can - so I asked a few of my more skilled friends to have a go; they didn't feel the strings prevented them from 'saying' what they wanted to 'say'.

Best strings ever!

These are the best strings i have ever used. Lots of Zzing when they are fresh. Still long lasting without losing the feeling, tone and comfort. I use these on all my basses, from precision, Ibanez soundgear to Warwick and they are simply the best and fits all models. I have used them for many years now and only had problem twice with these hi-beams. First time I slapped the low B string off in a serious funk-accident. Second time the string broke after installation when tuning it. Guess that time was a case of poor quality but that has only happened once in many years.

Can't imagine changing for other strings and i don't want to play other strings. Totally digging it.
