Great wah
My first wah. Loving the wide range of sounds you can adjust it to.
Top
lot of controls and cool booster included. evergreen design and top sound quality.
Not good, here's why
Edit after 1 year:
The thing has began to make a horrible scratching noise, even when playing clean, so I reduced quality down to 1 star. Honestly, just get the standard one or the 60's or whatever; this isn't worth your money .
The "adjustable" wah-wah has maybe two good wah-wah sounds. the variable Q is a pointless control, the whole point of a wah is that you control the range with your foot. The volume is also pointless, the last thing you need is another volume control in your rig. The "boost" function turns it into a wah-volume pedal hybrid, but it makes your tone murky and undefined. There are also these little knobs on the bottom of the pedal that are confusing to use. In the end, this pedal is versatile, but isn't specialised. Just buy a normal wah. also, the adjustment knob makes loud popping noises when used.
Best allrounder crybaby u can get.
Pros : -Lots of options
-Battery or adaptor operated
-The sound is great
-Sturdy built, like a tank
-It is such a great tool for much more variety in your guitar
playing. A must have for every guitarist.
Cons : - I should have bought this 20 years ago...
An amazing wah! A classic!
You can never go qrong with a Crybaby!
It sounds awesome and the knobs on the side help you personalize your wah sound and tone. It is very versatile and it responded very good on bass as well.
You can get a large variety of wah sounds with it. It is a very good wah, and I have played, rehearsed and recorded with it for two years now. It sounds still amazing!
Great value for money
The different wah settings allows guitarists to play several genre of wah music. Tone is unaffected. Also very durable and built like a tank. Dunlop quality is really good.
This is a great wah pedal, you must try it ?
Dunlop Crybaby CB-535Q
The operation of the effect and the various features are all very good. The "by-pass" (i.e. effect switched off) volume is much quieter than having a direct lead without the pedal. I find that I have to use the pedal for some songs that I need the effect on and unplug it for direct sound on other songs, as the "by-pass" volume is unusable.
If the "by-pass" volume problem could be corrected, this would be a truly excellent pedal.
Wah-wah
Maybe there are some better wah pedals, but this one is a legend. For it's price - quality of the sound is just perfect. You can get a lot of different sounds with this baby.
Pros and cons for CB-535Q
Hey,
First of all this is a very good wah pedal. Dunlop is very famos in making wah-wah's. And the new 535Q, i think is very usable and anyone could find a use to it in their pedal boards.
As earlier said, it has many tone variations, volume control and mode control, boost, which i personaly don't use, becausi it makes a distorted sond n my combo, which I dont expect from Wah. But some may find it useful.
I like a specific sound of wah on my combo, and many combinations of tone control gives the opportunity, which is a great + for this pedal.
Sometimes I like to use it as sort of volume pedal, turning the tone to narrow and vide, as it just disapears slowly.
On the negative side, I find that turning it on and of could be better, as it is for some other wah's, when you dont have to push it all the way forward, and when you do so, then it starts with shar sound, which I dont like sometimes.
But due to its features this wah has grown on me, and I like it very much.
