A lot of chorus pedals with stereo output will send the chorused sound to amp A and the dry sound (un-processed) to amp B... This is one of the few true-stereo chorus available on the market. This box adds modulation, but in a subtle way. I like it when the LFO sweep is not pronounced too much because LFOs are predictive (I am a user of the Catalinbread zero point flanger and the Pigtronix quantum chorus). The panning in between the amps is also subtle and interesting; it's not comparable to a stereo tremolo or to a ping-pong delay. It creates some kind of 3D-sound in the room. It's like there is, in addition to the panning between left and right amp, some kind of intensity panning in between the amps and your ears. Difficult to explain... MXR EVH Phase 90 Review The EVH phase 90 pedal is a simple pedal with only one knob and one button and is very easy to use. It is essentially two phasers in one: the standard block-logo Phase 90, and the vintage 70's script-logo phaser, the button marked 'Script' switches between two phase sounds, one subtle and one more pronounced however the difference is not overly drastic. From my experience with the pedal I think sounds best in the guitar chain rather than in the FX loop but this may just be a matter of preference. The reason that some may buy this pedal is to sound like EVH and with the script button pressed and the knob at around 9 or 10 o'clock it's a very convincing early Van Halen tone. I use this pedal in ambient guitar, the chorus can be so washy and lovely, the echo has a lovely self-oscillation character with a beautiful noise wash not unlike a real tape echo line! Pros form factor - perfectly sized for small boards, portable rigs sound quality - very flexible chorus/echo with detailed controls i/o - stereo and mono options cons self noise - sometimes the delay bypass footswtich has a little click/pop when you turn it on - not noticeable though! Really recommended if you want two great quality effects in one and a great space saver

I received the pedal and it works great. First thing I did was open it up and switch the LFO rates to the slow setting, since I specifically was waiting for the V2 version to fix this issue. With the LFO in the slow settings, it sounds great. It has a very nice sound and isn't clinically perfect. I prefer it to my other choruses. The setting with both buttons turned on doesn't do it for me, but maybe it works for you. Each of the buttons has a different sound, and I find both work in some cases.

I've been experimenting with Dweller for like 2 months and I have to say that even though I don't know what I'm doing most of the time I have a very specific and wild sound now. This box suprises me all the time. In my current noise project it is exactly what I need and I'm in love with it. The range of sounds is incredible, though the controls are more about feeling than precise set up. If you like to play with sound and you don't need exactly the one sound and nothing else then this little box will bring you much and much fun and will give you absolutely original sound above all.

I got the Julianna to use with synths. I mainly use it with Dreadbox Nymphes and Arturia Microbrute which have mono outputs and I love how it widens everything so pleasantly but it doesn't loose any of its energy even in mono mixdown. The fact that it can do mono to mono, mono to stereo, stereo to stereo makes it really versatile. The effect can be subtle or wild. The feature that really got me by surprise was the tap tempo, it's super useful, especially if used with the random LFO wave. I love the hidden LFO drift function, it sounds lovely on pads and strings. The lag knob and the DCV knob are also game changers, you can make really unique chorus sounds. This is a really handy chorus pedal that won't break the bank! I wanted a simple chorus pedal with a few basic options to dial in the tone that I wanted and the JOYO Narcissus does exactly that! Unlike the EHX Small clone pedal, the JOYO has more options to create the right effect that you are looking to dial in with fun features like the 'Rate' and 'Width' pots. The option between 'modern' and 'vintage' is a nice touch too and both offer different variations of what the chorus effect sound sound like. My personal preference is the 'vintage' setting as it sounds more like the rich classic chorus effect that I am looking for. Just for fun, if you put everything to 100% and click on the 'modern' tone it sounds super wacky and I don't know in what context this could be used...

I've owned several phasers like Phase 90, Small Stone, multi-effects pedals and boutique stuff like Grand Orbiter and HBE Psilocybe. They're all pretty good on bass, but Phase 100 is the one I always come back to. It's the most unique one (not a single boutique phaser is based on it), and it simply sounds the best on bass guitar to me. It has a rich, detailed voice that never turns into mud for live application (unlike many dark sounding OTA and Opto phasers), and it absolutely NAILS the "For the Love of Money" tone unlike most other phasers I had. Part of that tonal uniqueness is the fact that it's a 10 stage phaser (6 modulating + 4 fixed). It's very liquidy, and has a bit of flanger-like quality to it as well. I like the sound of old school tape flange on recordings, but don’t like the whooshing of a consistent flanger (I am not Eddie Van Halen). This pedal has a dynamic flange that adds a richness and swirl to your tone, in response to your picking dynamics, but without the whoosh. You can get a subtle background tape-inspired flange, a rich Vibe-like or Rotary-like shimmer, or some real crazy fedback stuff. Lots of variety, but a very musical tone is always really easy to dial in. There is also an envelope filter adding a bit of variety and fun- I can finally play The Relay intro by The Who :).

It is an excellent product. Sound and design are amazing. You can start with a nice traditional chorus sound by using the shape,depth and rate knobs. Then with the dimension, animate and intensity knobs you can add a more wild, intense and psychedelic atmosphere to your sound. It is quite easy to use. It works very good in combination with other effects (for example I use it together with a modulated filter, a synth and a reverb). I think it can be suitable for a lot of instruments (I use it with the bass and it sounds great!) I bought it a few weeks ago and it is already one of my favourite pedals.
